My needle is not picking up the bobbin thread

Take it to a service centre. Setting sewing machine timing is a job for a professional. It has to be exact to within half a millimeter and also the correct torque on the screws so they don't slip, but not strip the screw threads.https://www.google.com/search?q=Consew+2230+timing..

Consew 2033R commercial sewing machine just stopped sewing with the needle down and I can't get the wheel to turn at all?

Force the hand wheel in the normal direction of travel. You can't break it. The mechanism has just locked up. Once it is free, remove the needle and run it full speed for 20 seconds. The tip given to me by my dry cleaner / seamstress. It happened to one of her 4 industrial machines. She said she needed a strong man and that was me.

Consew 75T Sewing machine. Why does my Consew 75T stop stitching after making 10 or so inches of hem?

Is the thread breaking? Most sewing machine issues are caused by incorrect threading or incorrect bobbin tension and upper thread tension. Another reason could be that the bobbin carrier and shuttle are not properly latched in. Or the machine just needs servicing and the timing done.

I'm having issues with my last spool of thread not joining with the other threads when I start sewing

There could be a few different reasons why your last spool of thread is not joining with the other threads when you start sewing. Here are a few possible causes and solutions:
  1. Tension issue: Check that the tension on all of your threads is set correctly. If the tension is too loose or too tight, it can cause the thread to not join properly. Make sure that your tension is set correctly for the type of fabric and thread you are using.
  2. Thread quality: Make sure that the last spool of thread you are using is of the same quality as the other threads you are using. If the thread is of lower quality, it may not join properly with the other threads.
  3. Thread path: Check that the thread is following the correct path through the machine. If the thread is not following the correct path, it may not join properly with the other threads. Make sure that the thread is threaded correctly through the machine.
  4. Needle issue: Check that your needle is the correct size for the type of fabric and thread you are using. If the needle is too small or too large, it can cause the thread to not join properly.
  5. Bobbin issue: Check that your bobbin is inserted correctly and that the thread is wound onto the bobbin evenly. If the bobbin is inserted incorrectly or the thread is unevenly wound onto the bobbin, it can cause the thread to not join properly.
  6. Cleanliness: Make sure that your machine is clean and free of lint and debris. Build-up of lint and debris can cause the thread to not join properly.
By checking these possible causes, you should be able to identify and fix the issue with your last spool of thread not joining with the other threads when you start sewing.

Consew 389 RB-1 double needle post sewing machine has E3 error code Machine won't run. What is the issue? Thanks.

An E3 error code on the Consew 389 RB-1 double needle post sewing machine typically indicates a problem with the encoder or motor control system. This could be caused by a faulty encoder or wiring, or an issue with the motor control circuit board. To resolve this issue, you may need to replace the encoder, wiring, or motor control circuit board. It's recommended to consult the machine's user manual or contact a certified technician for further assistance with diagnosing and repairing the issue.

I have a Consew 206rl and it won't sew on double layers of leather but sews fine on single layers. What adjustments can I make

Sewing on double layers of leather can be challenging, and it's important to have the machine properly adjusted to handle the thickness. Here are some adjustments you can try:
  1. Needle size: Make sure you are using the correct needle size for the thickness of your leather. A larger needle may be required to penetrate the layers.
  2. Tension: Adjust the tension of the upper thread. If the tension is too tight, it can cause the needle to break or skip stitches. If it's too loose, the stitches may be uneven.
  3. Presser foot pressure: You mentioned you have already adjusted the presser foot pressure, but to clarify, turning the adjustment screw clockwise will increase the pressure, while turning it counterclockwise will decrease it. You may need to increase the pressure for thicker materials.
  4. Stitch length: Increase the stitch length for thicker materials. A shorter stitch length can cause the machine to struggle to sew through the layers.
  5. Speed: Slow down the speed of the machine when sewing on thicker materials. This will help the machine to handle the thickness and prevent skipped stitches or broken needles.
If none of these adjustments work, you may need to take the machine to a professional for further inspection and repairs.

I took the needle out of my Consew 7360R and was going to put a new needle in like normal but this time the needle wouldn't fit.

Check the needle clamp or set screw to make sure it isn't in the lock-in position. Also look closely for lint or thread in the needle holder. (I'm not familiar with your brand of machine, so this is a generically worded response. The point is to see if the needle clamp is at least partially in the clamped position; that would keep the needle from going in.) Also look at the old needle and see if it might have broken and left a part of it behind.

I bought a Consew 227 Cylinder Arm Sewing Machine. It's acting up I think it's out of time.

Take it in for professional service to start you off on the right track. Timing sewing machines is a very complex and skilled job. They will clean, lubricate and replace the missing screws. This is a very unusual machine. I can't find a Service Manual for it, but I did find a User Manual https://www.manualslib.com/products/Consew-227-6920833.html
