How do you disassemble the b70?

How do you disassemble the b70?

Keurig is going to send me a replacement B70 so I decided to open it up to help others.
Before you can remove the rear panel you have to gain access to the top panel. There are two screws under the top panel that hold the back cover in place.
To remove the top panel: Open the k-cup arm all the way. You will see two Phillips screws at the very top of the curve. Unscrew and remove both screws. Pull off the top of the k-cup cover. Now close the arm. You will then see two screws at the rear that hold the top panel in place. Be careful not to break the top panel when removing. Once the top panel is removed, you will see two phillip screws on each side at the top holding the rear panel in place. Removing the two screws will allow you to “unlock” the rear cover by sliding up to remove.
Good luck and I hope this helps.

Coffee tastes like rubber / plastic - brand new

Coffee tastes like rubber / plastic - brand new Keurig Platinum - any suggestions?

After getting in touch with the Keurig folks - I tried their solution. And... it worked! The coffee this morning tastes wonderful! Here is what they said:

To get rid of the "new brewer taste", we recommend you flush three reservoirs of water through the system. Please add 2 tablespoons of white vinegar to the first reservoir of water. To do this, follow these simple steps:
~ Open and close the handle to simulate a brew cycle (without a K-Cup)
~ Press the largest cup size and brew a cup of water.
~ Repeat the process (opening and closing the lid, then brewing) until the reservoir is empty.
~ Flush two more reservoirs of water through the brewer in the same way.

This process will clear any lingering odors or flavors and allow you to enjoy an unadulterated cup of coffee.

Strong plastic smell and taste on a new Keurig Platnum coffee mak

Almost returned a new machine, because of the strong taste of plastic, it was nasty! tried washingout the water res with hot soapy water and then running about 8 large size brews and the problem was eliminated.

I had the same problem and I discovered that after running 3 resevoirs full of water through the machine at 192 degrees , it got rid of the plastic smell. Set the cup size at the largest size mug and then just open the lid and close it , hit brew and let it fill the cup. Dump the water in the sink and repeat until you go through at least 3 resevoirs. The smell should be gone by then.

Broken O-ring floating in water reservoir. Where

Broken O-ring floating in water reservoir. Where does it go? Should I replace it? No leaks anywhere. Machine works fine otherwise

The o-ring you found floating goes around the black circle of plastic that surrounds the water inlet valve at the bottom of the inside of the reservoir. It's only used to create a seal when you're using the attachable water filter. If you're not using the attachable water filter, you don't need to replace the o-ring.

My Keurig is just dripping

My Keurig is just dripping into my cup. What should I do? What is the best way to clean it?

I blew out the tip and the water intake with my nail gun air compressor. Tried the tip first without any results. After I tried the water intake, hot water started to drip from the tip. Worked fine afterwards. Like other people have stated, water will spray, so make sure you cover the inlet and outlet areas with a towel. Their is a second outlet that is a piece of rubber that drains into the back of the water storage area. It points down and is ment to drain back into the water holding tank. Hot water could spray onto you hand after using the compressed air so be careful.

Pull the drip tray out and the serial number is on a sticker where the tray slides into the main unit. You have to get down low and look straight in and you will see it.
