The error code has to do with the fuser unit. Try to reset the error code in service mode. If that will not clear it, you will need to replace the fuser unit...... Good Luck

A E00804 means that a fan is not working correctly. Check all the fans for correct operation.

This is the proceddure for all the digital copiers that Canon has. Press the additional function key, then press 2 & 8 at the same time, then the additional function key again. Screen should now indicate COPIER and any other accessories of the copier. Press the needed item, then across the top should be a series of items that you can change or look at for different needs. Be careful in this area because settings could be changed and then the copier could be dead in the water and all the stuff will have to be inputted from the start.

Auth Required sounds odd. The only thing i could think would cause this is if the copier itself has Department Managment enabled. This is used to limit printing by quanity and sometimes restricting color prints. IF everyone else in the office is required to enter a code to print and this one does not then you need to enable department ID via the driver settings. Right Click your print driver and go to properties and select "Device Settings" from the tabs on the top of the window. Under this menu there should be a box that says Department ID select that and try it out. Another way is to "aquire" the copiers device status a button labeled somewhat to this effect should also be in that same window.

error 602 is related to mainly hard drive.try the same in other machine and cross chek it

tis is error code for fault in HDD. Call service for upgrade of system software and maybe you will need new hard disk.

this is problem with the thermistor .
because the fixing temperature doesn't rise. maximum rise up to 70 degrees C.
solution is change the thermistor with a new.

Hello,the problem is in Magenta drum unit. Also when you replace the M drum unit replace also the ITB cleaning blade assy.Hope that helps!
