This is one can be a couple of problems......One, make sure you are not using HEAVY DUTY batteries. (use only alkaline batteries only) (duracell or energizer) Two, if you have dropped it or it is in a vibration situation.....stop it. (the compartment in the golf cart, bouncing around can cause this too...) Or it just needs an alignment. Sounds like you have a Yardage Pro 450....IF you have a 20-0400 20-0500, 20-0600, 20-0750, 20-880, 20-1000, bushnell doesn't repair these models. They will offer you a new model. If it is a 20-1916. 20-2018, 2020, 20-2025 they will repair those.

Alignment is 30 bills. If you have oily yellow looking spots (sunlight burns) the LCD is 15 bills. All other maintenance performed is 15 bills.

On most of the bushnell units you just hold down the MODE button for about 5 seconds and the unit should switch from yards to meters....or vice versa

Can you replace battery in Bushnell Phantom? You can not change the battery. Do not attempt to open, disassemble or service the internal battery. The battery must be replaced by a qualified technician. If you suspect the battery is not working properly please contact Bushnell Golf support.

You never told us what model number or telescope TYPE you own. Is this a refractor or a reflector. ???

If a REFRACTOR usually you have a diagonal, the diagonal goes into the focuser and then the eyepiece goes into the diagonal.

On a REFLECTOR the eyepiece goes directly into the focuser.

Take it to your local camera shop. They may know someone that does repairs. I would force Bushnell to do under warranty by forging an invoice.

Here is the manual. It mentions the battery 4 times but not the type. It would be the one that fits the space in the holder. Likely a CR2032 coin battery or LR43, SR77 watch battery.
