Try playing on another device, more like a blurayplayer . You can also try bringing to like a walmart, walgreens or a staples to see if they can play it from their side of things. Try another pc with a dvd or bluray device. I’m happy to help further over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/zelio_00a80ed57645ccbf

Vhs is stuck in machine. Won't play and won't eject.

There are any number of reasons why it won't play. The loading basket is jammed, the video tape has got tangled up in the mechanical section of the vcr or the loading gears are stripped. Unplug machine and remove top, [screws side and back] if the tape is spewed carefully remove by cutting it and clean tape particles, for any other problem have a technician check it out.

RDR-VX560 have recorded about 250 programs, on

I'm sorry that the discs are not being able to read using either Computer nor with the Recorder itself. Based on the information you have provided, it appears that the discs are corrupted. Please check whether other discs are playing fine with the Recorder and computer to make sure that the drives are fine. If Recorder and Computer playing fine other discs, we can confirm that the issue is with the discs itself. Clean the discs using a soft cloth starting from center to straight toward edge.Use any software recovery software to recover the data. I have provided a link where you can download one for free. Click here to download the data recovery software. Clean the discs by following the below step. Thus cleaning the disk should always be your first move. Run warm water over the damaged disk to remove dust. If there is stubborn dirt or grease on the disk, gently rub it with your finger while you are washing it, and use a gentle detergent or liquid soap (with the water) or rubbing alcohol (in place of water). Anytime you rub or wipe a CD or DVD, you should do so by starting at or near the center of the disk and rubbing straight outward toward the edge to prevent further scratching. Shake the water off and let the disk air-dry (do not dry it with a towel or cloth, and don't sun-dry it either). Now play the discs directly on the computer and recorder. If the issue persists, try again using the recovery software. I hope the information helpful, please let me know if you require any clarifications. Thanks for understanding.

Sony RDR-VX525 VCR / DVD

Hello
It has a switched mode power supply [SMPS] regulator inside it. You have located the fuse in itself. As far as fuse is OK, either switching device or mains rectifier diodes and load ressistor should be checked. There is no direct short circuit inside that board, if so fuse will fire up. It is very difficult to an unexperienced person, who is not have sound knoledge in digital elctronics; to rectify this problem. If you are experiecied, go forward. If not, it will be best to replace the power control board. It is available on most of the electronic component spare part shops at your town. There is a number printed on its printed circuit board and it should be noted. The number must be the exact one, if you replace the board. Take out the board from the set, and keep it with you as a sample, when you go to buy a new one. If you are not confidence in this work, never do nothing, and get it repaired by any experienced service personal. OK.

Won't play PAL DVDs

The Pal system is used in England and parts of Europe and operates at a higher resolution rate, and even if you could run it the image would come across as a negative going picture. The system is not compatible with the North American System to work under these conditions.

I am getting the message

There is not much you can do.With all the digital capabilities, especially the digital transmissions which started this year, they are better able to protect their copyrighted material by transmitting a signal which interferes with recordings, not much, just enough to make it bothersome.I have copyrighted a couple of things, nothing major like TV transmissions, but vastly researched the laws and applications and violations and as I stated, with the new digital transmissions which started in summer,it's a whole new ball game,so to speak. Here is a link to the Copyright Office if you would like to research some stuff, but i would not recommend calling them asking questions about your attempting to record material so as not to draw any red flags.Welcome to Digital TV,pros and cons included,no extra fee...yet.Sorry,wish I had better news.Greg
