Kenmore 13743 Staimless Steel Built-in Dishwasher Questions & Answers
New Kenmore 13743. Many
Have you tried cleaning a single glasses with vinegar. Take a glass, soak it in vinegar for a couple hours, wipe it dry and see if the film goes away. If it does you know vinegar will work to help. I use vinegar with every wash now cause the film builds up quickly. If the film doesn't go away then it is likely that the glasses are getting etched by a corrosive detergent.
My Kenmore 13743 is 3 years old and was washing
Hello,
Welcome to FixYa,
You are likely right on, this is very common with these unfortunately. Hopefully this will help.
**Unplug the unit or turn off the power first of course...safety first**
I've attached a link which should step you through the cleaning etc.

Let me know how you manage and if I can help in any manner going forward. Good luck.

Dishwasher does not drain completely
the cycle was interrupted and now it will not drain completely. I cannot find the instruction manuel, and when I push the "clear/drain" button I hear the motor start but then when the light goes off the water is still in the bottom.
My older built in Kenmore 3380957 Rev.A dishwasher.
If it is doing when it is washing, then it likely to be a problem with the pump, but it might just be 'hunting' because the filters are partially blocked. There is the filter that you can see easily, but there is a fine filter underneath that blocks with fine grey lint.
Water left in the bottom can be caused by that because the drain pump is past the filter and is on a timer.
