- Check your ricoh driver on your PC ( you must have the driver installed at your PC)
- Check PC - printer cable connection ( It must connnected securely)
- Set your ricoh printer as default printer on PC ( Go to control panel, click printer, right click ricoh and choose default printer).

Yes, you can definitely share one printer to multiple computers. All you need to have is a ethernet hub or some call it network hub and Cat5 cable. This is a known manufacturer error. Call Ricoh Direct and talk to someone in Tech Support. If your product is registered with them, they will send you a new printer. You will have to ship the old one back in the same box the new one was shipped to you in, but they provide an RMA # so there isn't any charge.

well sure you can solve this problem and to disable the ink level monitoring utility, and to do so please follow the following steps:
Click start and click on RUN (else type RUN in search box if using Windows Vista or Windows 7)
Type msconfig in the RUN box
Click on the startup Tab on the top right hand side corner of the system configuration utility
Select the particular Ricoh utility in the list of startup items and disable the same (uncheck it)
Click on Apply and Close
Upon System restart you might get an option or warning of system configuration utility please check the box for don't show this message and click on close
That's it, issue resolved
In case you are unable to find the startup utility you may click on the option on the bottom to disable all, this would also help you improve the speed of computer as it would stop unnecessary startup items to load on system startup.
I keep getting error 999 when trying to print a
