To turn off the demo mode, press and hold the HOME or MENU button on the TV for more than 10 seconds. The messageDemo mode: Off will appear on the screen.

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication. You can get an idea about the faulty stage circuit inside the TV, by the number of these blinks. From my experience with sony tv it's normal.The set is going through update mode.Leave the set for about 10 minutes and it should be back to normal.

Hello,
The error that you are getting (3 Blinks) means a power error is being reported. You will need to replace the main power board (the 1st one that is connected to the ac wall outlet connector).

The replacement board could be defective. Your TV worked fine until there was a power loss so its time to troubleshoot to find out how the power loss affected the original board in theTV. There could have been a power surge.

Goes from on to Standby by its self because of protection mode that activates for some internal problem. Do you see standby light blinking on tv front? What is model number of your tv? How many times standby light blinking after 3 seconds long pause? Let me know to find out possible cause of problem.
