Cd stuck in my HP 17-e061nr laptop..the door tray opens and closes fine but the cd wont come out
That's a tough one. First, be prepared for the CD to be ruined. The process of getting it stuck or extracting it is likely to cause some significant scratches. If you can look into the drive and see the disc, try using some tweezers to work it out. Take your time - it's likely to be jammed up in there pretty good.
If you can't see the disc you may need to remove the drive and either attempt to disassemble it or just replace it altogether (the latter being my recommendation). If you look on the bottom of your laptop you should see a screw that is positioned on the centerline of the optical drive at what would be the back of the drive. It may even have a disc icon next to it. Power off, unplug it and remove the battery. Remove the screw then try pulling the optical drive straight out from the chassis. If you need leverage, use a paper clip to push the manual eject (behind the little hole in the front bezel of the drive) and use the drawer to -gently- pull on the drive. Replacement is just a matter of sliding the drive back in, seating it in the connector and replacing the screw.
If you opt to replace the drive you should be able to find compatible parts on eBay if you don't want to pay HP for an OEM part.

Hello manding, to restore any area dealing with the sound on your Computer; the same location will apply. First, click on the "Start Button," in the (right pane) Control Panel, next in the category listings, select Hardware and Sound, open and choose "Manage Sound Devices." The Sound window will open; click the "Playback" button, there should be a Speakers Icon, highlight to open, look below to find the "Properties button, open the next window. There will be (4) four buttons "General, Level... first select the "General" button. Next, in the top of the window there will be a "Driver" button, click on that button, select to "Update Driver." You can go back and "Tour the other areas, Speaker Level etc..." If you have a "MIC" do the same for the Microphone as you have done for (Speakers). Note: "Apply and OK all changes, to take effect. "Restart the computer to finalize the changes." I hope this information is helpful, thank you for using FixYa." paul70f9

Have the HP check the video card driver. having a plain white screen with no icons or wallpaper means there's something wrong with the video card driver or the hardware itself.
I need Sound driver HP
Sorry to said but there are no drivers for your notebook for Windows 7. I suggest you to download from
this link previous drivers and use these drivers at your notebook in compatibility mode. This means that before the drivers installation, right click on the installation file, choose properties - compatibility and check compatibility with the version of the drivers you download. For example if you download the drivers for Vista check the Vista compatibility. Note that the Vista drivers are available for 64bit also.

It sounds like a power supply problem (low voltage), or could be a battery going bad. Also, the vents to the cpu fan could be clogged up and overheating the cpu, causing it to shut down. You can spray the vents and area out with compressed air. Other than that, it will have to be serviced.
Good luck and hope this helps.
