this sounds like typical power supply problems. these units have a stand-by power thats always active;even when unit is off. this allows the settings to be remembered by the u-con. (microprocessor) when you unplug the unit it will reset to factory default, thus erasing faulty power-supply data from improper voltages.(usually low readings) swollen capacitors on power-pcb will effect operation. recommend replacement of all electrolytic caps on power board. even smd's (surface-mounted-devices) can be leaky. they can be checked in circuit with an ESR meter. this is an analog sweep meter (needle gauge, not digital) that can detect faulty, leaky capacitors.

your lcd plug fried company sent me replacement first time now I have to find a place to sell me one also make sure tv is on a good power surge protector, can't say it won't happen again. cause i've been tere done that.

there is a button on and off press it a few times it goes to tv,video, video2 , ect. may try that mine came on video2 which is the tv picture.

There is more than one problem with. A it could be the main board that finally gave out. B the power board in your TV is not work, and now you can see a picture. Depending on how it's connect the screen could be burn out. but just what type of light comes on when you try to turn it on. if the green light comes on and stay on then it has to do with the picture not the power if you need help narrowing down the problem you can call 226-2211 My E Discounts. pixel are come from the screen panel. All LCD TV have these pixel and some do shows and some don't. Also depending quality of the screen panel. (These should be counted panel defective) according the information through the LCD factory.
