Samsung CLP 300 Laser Printer - Page 4 Questions & Answers
Faded strip
Hi, faded strip or faint printing is cause by the drum as the toner distribution is uneven.

Back door wont close...just had this problem....
Look at the back of the printer and you will see a rod with two black pieces on it...it looks like the fins on the door will mesh with these pieces and close....but these are the problem.
Gently pull on the rod and flip the black pieces down so the square tab on them is up and back. This meant pushing the black piece FRONT down on my printer.
This spun the piece to the correct position. Repeat on the second black plastic piece on the rod and the door will close!
How they got turned on the first place is a mystery to me! But this fixed my door closing problem!
Samsung CLP-310 Colour laser doesn't print properly
This is not a driver or Windows issue, has the ink cartridges been changed recently, it sounds like the the paper is not being magnetically charged before the ink, unplug the power cord for 30 sec plug back in and try printing again
New trouble with my samsung CLP-300 printer
Can't believe the geniuses at Samsung didn't respond to this.
I had the same problem and as usual, I started tinkering. Two solutions: 1. Remove the used toner reservoir(located left on the toner cartridges...light grey, "L" shaped object) and discard(be environmentally aware). Replace with new one.

2. (My choice) Remove reservoir, empty contents carefully. Wash thoroughly with cold water until water is clear. Dry thoroughly with paper towel and blowdryer. Light must be clearly visible through the little magnifying bubble on the side. Works everytime. Be patient. This takes about 5 minutes. Can be very messy if you are not anally retentive as I am. :)

I get this blue stripe down the right side of the page
Open the doors to locate and wipe off the green shiny roller really well. Spin it and wipe it off all the way, especially on that right side. Pull out the cyan toner and wipe it around where the toner comes out. Check other rollers for blue marks and wipes those off as well. Lit free cloths work best but I just use a damp paper towel and then a dry one.
