Try using the HP Print Diagnostic Utility in Windows - HP Customer Care (United States - English)

It means that the printer is in READY State.

Control panel
The printer control panel is comprised of six lights and two buttons. The lights produce patterns that
identify the printer status.
1 Jam light: Indicates that there is a jam in the printer.
2 Toner light: When the print cartridge is low, the Toner light illuminates. When the print cartridge is out of the printer,
the Toner light blinks.
3 Paper out light: Indicates that the printer is out of paper.
4 Attention light: Indicates that the print-cartridge door is open or other errors exist.
5 Ready light: Indicates that the printer is ready to print.
6 Go button and light: Initiates action or indicates status.
7 Cancel button: To cancel the print job that is currently printing, press the Cancel button.

Disable your antivirus product and check.Also check the network firewall settings and create a rule or add printer ip to allowed list.I have had the similar kind of issue and was not aware what to do. Check is there any paper particals jammed in duplex unit (RM1-4258-000), repalce roller face down(RL1-0527-000), if is difficulty to find out the part remove this roller files the surface of the tyre with sand paper fix it back. This activity advised for tec guys only.

I would reload the drivers before doing anything else, if it were my printer.

assign a static IP to your printer
(in your same Subnet mask Example 192.168.0.10 subnet mask 255.255.255.0)
Chek IP in your PC
enter menu-- settings IP
After:
Check the following
Printer Is Turn On
Is connected to Switch or router
next place the CD drivers or download drivers.
When ask Local priinter or Network printer
choose Network printer
The Software autocmatically detect the Printer with the IP asigned

That symbol means that the printer cartridge door is open.

If you have an adjustable paper tray, make sure that the tray is set for the right size paper. Also, you may have some type of sensor in or around the printer tray that tells the computer when the paper tray is empty. Sometimes these sensors get stuck and you have to free them up (very gentley).

remove catridge, lift registration assm plate check paper particals, sensor flag for damaged,dis located...check fuser out sensor for damage & dis located..

I hope you checked with another cartridge, take half test page observe that is there image formed on cartridge drum? if the image formed & not transfer on paper check transfer roller.
If image not formed on drum check the cartridge contact pins(left down side of the cartridge area)any pin damaged/struck correct it. remove dc controller board clean JP 305,305,303,& 304.. Re-fix the board and check of no use replace DC controller.

Type two page in word then try it in duplex,,..check..I dont think so that its printer problem..sorry if I am wrong

check through manual feed, same issue open registration assm, clean paper particles under the registration assm, if this problem with try two check paper path between registration assm and tray 2.. i

This sound possibilly from top of the right side, open right cover refix the deplex drive gear set if not presists, inter change the duplex drive gears(these two similar gears drives white & black gears easily locatable).....

This is the common problem of this series , this problem comes from the formater card replace the formatter card your problem will be resolved forever till further problem in logic card.
