My headphone slot won't work
so long as you are not plugging in a headset(mic/phones) into it. those have different connections on them which dont line up and short out. yours needs a 3 connector plug ie standard TRS 3.5mm stereo.

Most MP3 players are or have batteries of this kind. You maybe able to use rechargable ones.

Hi, When you transferr music from your PC use windows media player. It work well with these players. Make sure usb cable is securely attached. May not work well with Mac.
In Media player click on Sync tab and drag and drop files in sync list on right. Good luck

I cant find the music i put on it
you might have restore it to its defaults
Right click on usb drive select properties you will have an array of options
Select the hardware option then select your drive properties policies
restore defaults
In XP
Right click on your drive select properties then on customize restore Default in W 7
click start control panel scroll to folder options view place a tick in show hidden files folders and drivesthis may vary depending on your operating system
