From the past history of Hisense brands of TV's the power board very seldom gives issues, they build them quite well, the only way to troubleshoot this issue is with a multimeter, look for the power on pin on the power supply connector going to the main board, you need to see about 3.5 vdc there when you turn the set on, I think you will see the voltage there for a few seconds then drop to almost 0, if you find this it's the eeprom that's lost it's data, this IC is located on the main board, there are 2 fixes, one is to replace the IC the other is replace the board. The chip costs under $20 but it's somewhat difficult to replace. Here is the listing for the IC https://www.shopjimmy.com/sharp-dkeymf905fm04-kf905-qpwbxf905wjzz-main-board-loc-ic8401-eeprom-only/
This would mean that either a CABLE BOX, SAT BOX, COAX CABLE, HDMI CABLE, ETC may not be working properly, something is loose, or needs reset. -Reset ALL components by unplugging them for 5 minutes including the TV. -Be sure all COAX CABLES and HDMI CABLES are tight and properly connected. -If you CAN pull up the TV MENU when you have the black screen, update your TV’s firmware to be sure your TV is up to date and rule out the TV as the problem. NOTE: If the TV now works and there is no BLACK SCREEN, the issue was either a loose cable, old TV firmware, or a component that needed to be reset and the issue is now resolved.
You will need to preform a power drain cycle on your TV here.Unplug your TV from the power source.Press and hold the power button for about 10 to 30 seconds. This will help drain all of the TVs residual power. Now plug the TV back into the power sources.
How exactly did you test the backlight strips Mike? This set is made by Hisense, they have the tolerances really tight on the backlight inverter current, in our shop we have seen many times on Hisense sets with no backlights not working, we test the lamps with our tester and all worked, however when new strips were installed the set worked as it should. One thing I want to verify, when you say black screen, you're not talking about a real dark blue screen where the lamps work and you're missing video? Reason I ask this is you said you replaced the t-con board, that's something that would be replaced if you had backlights and no video as the tcon has NOTHING to do with the backlights
Hey, The Sharp LED Backlight TV model 2T-C45AD8X's back cover can be opened by performing the following steps:
1) Cut the TV off from the power supply.
2) Place the television flat on a soft surface.
3) Using a screwdriver, find the screws that are attached to the back cover's borders.
4) Carefully remove the back cover to have access to the internal parts.
Thanks!
You need new LED backlight strips, a power/inverter board can cause this as well but on Sharp-Hisense sets it's been the backlights that are bad in most sets we repair in our service center.
We've seen something similar in our shop on Hisense TV's, and considering Sharp sets are made by Hisence it may be related. The issue we have found was the balling of the prosessor IC was bad, a replacement main may fix it, or you can try "cooking" the board in an oven, see some youtube videos on how to do this

If both your front panel and remote control are disabled, the best option would be to perform a factory reset to restore the TV to its original settings.
To reset the Sharp LC-40LE830U to factory settings:
Unplug the TV from the power outlet and wait for at least 60 seconds.
Press and hold the power button on the TV for 5 seconds while the TV is still unplugged.
Plug the TV back in and turn it on using the power button on the TV itself.
Once the TV is turned on, press and hold the "input" and "volume down" buttons on the TV simultaneously for 5 seconds.
The TV will then enter the service mode menu.
Press the "menu" button on the remote control to navigate through the menu and select "option."
Select "factory reset" from the options menu and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the reset.
Note: The factory reset will erase all custom settings, including parental controls, picture, and audio settings.
The 1 blink followed by 3 blinks error code on a Sharp Aquos TV usually indicates an issue with the mainboard or the power supply board. It's difficult to say whether replacing the power supply board will fix both the black screen and the blurry/discolored picture issues without further diagnosis.
Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
Check all cable connections: Make sure all cables and connectors are securely attached and not damaged.
Perform a hard reset: Unplug the TV from the power outlet and wait for 60 seconds before plugging it back in. This can sometimes reset the TV and resolve any issues.
Check the mainboard: If the power supply board appears to be functioning properly, the issue may be with the mainboard. Inspect the mainboard for any physical damage or burnt components.
Test the power supply board: If you have a multimeter, you can test the power supply board to see if it's supplying the correct voltage to the mainboard and other components.
Contact a professional: If you're not comfortable troubleshooting the issue yourself, it's best to contact a professional repair service or the manufacturer's customer support for further assistance. They may be able to provide additional troubleshooting steps or recommend a service center for repairs.
It's important to note that taking off the back panel of a TV can be dangerous, and if you're not experienced with electronics repair, it's best to leave it to the professionals.
If your Sharp TV is not responding to remote commands and the power light is flashing, here are some steps you can try:
Check the batteries in the remote control and replace them if necessary.
Try using a different remote control to see if the issue is with the remote or the TV.
Unplug the TV from the power outlet and wait for a few minutes before plugging it back in. This may reset the TV and resolve the issue.
Check the connections between the TV and any external devices, such as cable boxes or DVD players. Make sure the connections are secure and the cables are not damaged.
Try using the buttons on the TV itself to see if the issue is with the remote control.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, it is possible that there is a hardware problem with the TV that may require professional repair.
