I would contact the people who repaired your LCD and Touchscreen. These companies usually give you a limited warranty should any problems arise after repair.

The only other thing you could try in the mean time is a complete restore.

  1. Verify there is nothing plugged into the headset port, including headsets, headphones, or adapters.
  2. While on the Home screen, adjust the volume buttons. If you see the icon below, indicating that headphones are attached, there may be debris in the headset port: ts1630_01.jpg

To remove debris in the headset port, try connecting a pair of headphones to the headset port and then remove the headphones. Repeat this several times.
  3. If you have paired with a Bluetooth headset that is nearby, either use the headset or turn Bluetooth off (choose Settings > General > Bluetooth).
  4. If that doesn't work, try restarting the iPhone. Hold the Sleep/Wake button until "slide to power off" appears. Slide to power off your device. When it is off, press the Sleep/Wake button to turn it back on.

I had a blank screen and couldn\'t do anything. I just held the Home and On/Off button together for about 6-10 seconds and the Apple logo appeared, after that it was all sweet :)
It is a pity this happens. Oh well, at least it was simple to reset the phone and fix my problem. Good job Apple :P

First, do not turn on the device for any reason. Second, place the iPhone in a bowl of white rice for several days. The rice should dry out the moisture.

After a few days see if the device will turn on. Hope that helps!

Have you tryed reseting and restoreing the iphone?

Apple iPhone... | Answered on Nov 25, 2016

Some accessories designed for previous iPods and older iPhone models will not function correctly or in some cases at all with your iPhone, there is not much to be done for this problem other than trying a different accessory. In some cases the accessory will work regardless of the message so try using the device anyway and see if it works.

This is a feature built in the operating system to help preserve battery life and to free up memory of the device. I don't believe there is anything that you can do manually to prevent the apps from closing.

Hope that helps!

An OEM in China called CNN.cn has made anodized iPhone’s OEM back case available as replacement parts. For $46.99 you will be able to replace the back case of your iPhone. It comes in black color and does not include the chrome Apple logo.
The back case replacement is not for the faint of heart, as it requires you to remove your current back case. It is not a simple clip and drop in cover case.

How to create video loops on iPhone, iPad and iPod

Here is a little video tutorial I wanted to share with you: I work at an Enterprise Mobility software company, and there smartphones and tablets are our most important tools. Obviously. That's why we also use iPhones, iPods or iPads at exhibitions to show video loops via Airplay or HDMI on TV screens at our booth. I always thought that iPad, iPhone and iPod couldn't play videos in a loop. That's why I created 2 - 3 hour loops in Premiere which usually took several hours to render. Because of the resulting large file size, I rendered the video again in another software to reduce the size... All in all, a quite annoying process. But in the context of this year's VMworld in Las Vegas, I found a solution I wanted to share with you.

Watch this video to see how you can loop videos on iOS devices:

In addition, here are the steps again:

  1. Go to your PC, open iTunes
  2. File -> Add to Library -> Choose File -> Open
  3. Go to scroll down menu -> Choose "Movies"
  4. Choose "Home videos"
  5. Click on your video -> Right click -> Get info -> Options
  6. Choose new media kind -> "Music Video"
  7. Go back to Music category; there you see your video
  8. Right click on your video -> Choose "Add to device" -> Click on the device you have connected to your PC
  9. Wait for the upload to be completed
  10. Go to your device -> Open "Apple Music"
  11. See under "Recently Added" -> There is your video -> Open it -> Scroll a bit down
  12. Besides "Up Next" -> Tap on arrows which form a circle until you see the number one appear.
  13. Now your video will be looped
  14. You can also create a playlist and add different videos to it and loop this playlist!

That happened to me. Push the home and on/off buttons simultaneously until the apple logo appears, then wait until it has fully restored the system. This should work. Good luck

Get the USB cord to connect the iPhone to the computer and start iTunes but do not connect the iPhone yet. Hold the home button and on/off button together for 5 sec as the iphone is booting (apple logo appears on iphone screen). The iPhone will then turn off (black screen, Apple logo disappears). Hold down the home button and then, as you keep holding it, plug in the USB cord. The Iphone should now turn on, the apple logo should appear. After 7-10 sec a usb connector symbol should appear on the screen. You are now in recovery mode. The iphone should connect to iTunes and let you restore. If the restore is not successful you may have a hardware issue (def. logic board). There is an iPhone Repair Guide that shows how to open an iphone if you want to attempt a self-repair, parts are easily available on Ebay.

Unknown callers should have a number that appears with no name - these can be blocked post call or in the Settings/Phone/Blocked Callers section. Unknown calls with no number can only be blocked from the carrier side - you would have to contact your provider.

You need to install itunes on your laptop so your iphone can sync with itunes and your computer.. this is used to tranfer music to your iphone, transfer photo's and video etc and also to check for new firmware versions/back up your phone.

You can however take photo's from your iphone without itunes if you connect your phone via usb and choose open folder to view files when the dialog pops up after you plug it in.. this has very limited use however you really need to install itunes. Itunes is a free download

Hold the on-off button and home buttons together for 5 sec as the iphone is connected to a charger, then release both buttons. Then press the on-button. The iphone should now turn on if it was just frozen. If not, you may have a hardware issue. There is an iPhone Repair Guide that shows how to open an iphone and replacement parts are available on Ebay.

Is it activated, did it work before? Is it a prepaid account? Try to start by asking self such questions.... otherwise you can ring up your provider.
