SanDisk Sansa c240 MP3 Player - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
Can you put videos on it
No, the Sansa C240 does not support video files. It will handle MP3, WMA, WAV, and protected WMA DRM audio files. It can also handle still images in JPEG, TIFF, PNG, BMP, and GIF files.
I wish that I had better news for you. Some of the newer MP3 players from SanDisk do support video files.

Sansa sandisk c240
Yeah, water damage = irreversible; everyone on this forum who has ever dried out their mp3 player failed to get a player that worked 100% of the time - call the manufacturer, Sandisk, and see if you are eligible to get a replacement - don't mention the water damage
My sansa device does not recognise songs in it
MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You can download mp3 music files from the Internet toyour computer and then copy them to your MP3 player. For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs tomp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and thencopy them to your MP3 player after you have connected the USB cable tothe MP3 player and the computer. You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player willcreate a MP3 music file for each music track.Click on this link for instruction on converting musicfiles to mp3 file format :-

How do you put songs
If you plug the player into a USB port, it should appear in My Computer.
Open it and drag and drop the songs into it.
If you have a microSD card fitted that will show up as well.
Think of it as just another thumb drive.
You can also put songs on a microSD card using a card reader, and plug it into your player.
There are software utilities that will automatically update your player's contents, but i have never looked at them, having found the above two methods sufficient.
