In this case, I believe the only option is a hard reset, which restores the device to factory settings. To do this, press and hold down the left and right soft keys, and press the stylus tip into the tiny recessed reset button. This should guide you through the steps. I wonder if you already tried to go to 'Start > Settings > Connections tab > Wi-Fi > Network Adapters tab' and set the 'My network card connects to:' dropdown menu to 'The Internet'.

check charger , charging point of your phone and furthermore make sure phone screen save features is set to maximum

If it will not turn on, even when plugged into the wall (can be done without the battery installed) it is a faulty connection/piece where the charger plugs into the phone. A good way to check would be to go to a cell phone store with those types of batteries and if one of their batteries works & your phone turns on, it is definitely the port the charger plugs into on your phone.

your operating system probably crashed. you can goto the UT Starcom website and download the operations system. make sure you select the proper carrier. it is a very simple process that will show you step by step on how to re-flash your software. it will erase everything on the phone and put it back to factory settings. if it is a sprint ppc6700 feel free to call us or stop in our store and we will take a look at it for you. 317.337.0030 M-F 9-6 Sat 11-2

Just to clarify, you ARE holding down both soft keys (left and right menu keys with dashes on them) and pressing the reset button?

If so, and it appears to only perform a soft reset, there should be a "clear storage" option in PROGRAMS. It will prompt confirming your selection (just go through the prompts). This is an equivalent to a hard reset.

I would try a system reset there might be something wrong with the PPC itself but you won't know until you try these other two if you are still experiencing difficulties synch your phone to the comp call in and have it reset to factory default settings and if it still isn't work take it in to the store and have a diagnostic test run on the phone itself sorry that is happening to you and I hope this helps :)

You might try going to your comm manager which is in your programs list. Once you click on it it will take you to a screen that has 7 diff icons on it. If the one that looks like a phone has an X in the lower right hand corner click on it and it should solve your problem.

**Comm manager can also be axcessed by holding down the button on the left side under the slider bar if settings have not been changed**

if you look at the bottom right corner there are 3 icons the center icon looks like a circle withe 2 curved lines is the comm manager use your thumb stick to navigate to it and push it in like a button there are 7 new items to select just under the phone is the wireless on off switch if it has a X on it then its off click on it..
now the wireless is activated and if you have a router you can connect to it and use your internet connection that way also there are many places that offer free wifi..........

to see what connections are on push the windows sighn go to settings on the bottom move it to connections then go to network cards and enter you will see a list of available wifi connections if your wifi setting is on....
