I cannot understand registration process
Hi, you can get the serial number by searching one of the various papers that accompanied the Garmin Nuvi when you bought it. In the box, somewhere, is a yellow sheet. If you look at the bottom of the sheet, you will find serial number as well as registration code in small black letter at the bottom of the page.
But should in case you did not get the Garmin Nuvi brand new (maybe fairly used), then you have to contact the person you got it from to get the serial number because without it you cannot complete your registration.

Charging connector is loose
Yes, you have found the problem. The mini-USB jack is broken, preventing the battery from being charged. However, you can charge the battery by using the 660's snap in cradle and bypass the USB port. If you want the jack replaced, please see this link:http://www.sharc.net/gps_charger_repair.htmYou will want to fix the jack because you will not be able to update the firmware or map until the jack is fixed.- Jim

Add Europe sd card to Garmin 660
No. When you plug in the SD card, the Nuvi will load the map from your SD card. Once you get to the main menu, select the wrench symbol, then the map symbol and then "map info". You should see both the US and Europe map. Make sure the Europe map is checked. You can uncheck the US map. This is how you switch between maps. The reason why you have to have the extra map on the SD card is because the Nuvi can only have one map on it's internal drive, one at a time.
However, backing up your US map is a good idea.
Good luck,
