Water wont run and icemachine is not working
Check Temp inside freezer. It has to be down to about 10 or 15 degrees
See if water is in icemaker.
Pour water in Ice Maker and wait to see if it ejects.
If it ejects theb you need to replace water valve in rear bottom of fridge(Its the part that
attaches to water line out of wall)
If it doesn't eject then it is a faulty Ice Maker.
If its leaking same part needs replaced. The water valve at the bottom rear of fridge.

Hi,
Many times a freezer and/or refrigerator do not work right because of a dirty condenser coil...there are also many other things that can go wrong.
If you are hearing a clicking or buzzing then check out the last two tips.If your refrigerator is running but warm, then...Check out these tips that I wrote about that... it is a great place to start trouble shooting your unit...and something that you can do rather then calling a repair person to do a simple thing for you...Refrigerator Condenser Coil Cleaning Refrigerator RepairRefrigerator Troubleshooting Refrigerator CompressorRefrigerator Compressor Start Capacitor and Start Relay

My refrigerator is six years old and for the past
Saw your post a week late but the sound could be the start relay on compressor is weaking or if the water is turned off to ice maker the water control valve will try to fill ice maker if the ice make switch is left on and has no water. I will send a manual shortly, Sea Breeze
Amana ASD2626HEW.
If the windings in the compressor test good then you can go to the next step. Smoke is an indication of a short circuit. I will send you to a page that has information on how to test, Be Right Back, Sea Breeze
Really loud humming noise and freezer is defrosting/refreezing
Connect only to an outlet, do not use an extension cord. If you really must use an extension, make sure it is capable of handling the load. Should be a 16ga minimum, 14ga preferred and not exceed 25 feet. If you are having this issue while plugged directly into an outlet, perhaps the circuit is weak, and you should try another outlet.
Other possibilities include: a short-cycling thermostat. This is when the thermostat tries to kick the compressor back on too soon after the last running. OR Your compressor is on the way out. Sometimes the installation of a "Hard Start Kit" will aid a failing or stubborn compressor. If you've eliminated all else, consult an appliance servicer to buy the hard start kit. They typically are a universal fit, and come with instructions.
The fridge is not making ice but instead water
If water is overfilling the icemaker, and you have an older style icemaker, you can adjust the fill switch on the icemaker.
Pop off the front cover of the icemaker and you will see an adjustment
screw attatched to a lever. Adjust the screw so the lever goes toward
the - symbol. This will shorten the amount of time the water valve
turns on to fill the icemaker. If the lever is centered between the +
and - symbols, turn it about 1 turn toward the -. If it is more toward
the + side, adjust it to the center. It may take a few adjustments
before you get it filling correctly.
If it is a newer style electronic icemaker there will not be any adjustment on it.
If you will post the model number I will try to look it up and see what kind of icemaker set-up you have.
water pressure is fine but is the icemaker getting the right amount of
water? the biggest cause of hollow cubes is as you know is low water
pressure. another thing is check that the i/m is level allowing water
to go all teh way to the head of the I/m. If you can dip your fingers
in teh very fron cube mold and verify that water is getting all teh way
there.
The sensor for mold temperature is at teh fron housing so that is
why its important for water to get there or else it will sense water
actual freezer temp instead of water/ice temp.
