try using TDK disks i rarely have a problem with them try doing a drive test using a blank dvd

Sony DRU-810A... | Answered on May 05, 2011

You do not mention what type of blank DVD you are using. My personal experience is that many brands of blank DVD-R's have problems in DVD burners that are not the same brand. To a lesser extent, this also happens with DVD+R's.

The reason is that because of patents involving the technologies each DVD disc and DVD burner manufacturer has, the dye formulation of each manufacturers discs varies greatly. If this does not complicate matters enough- laser power, bandwidth, and recording schemes vary between the DVD burner manufacturers.

The safest route is to use DVD media manufactured by the same company as your burner- in your case, Sony. If you can locate blank Sony DVD+R's, they will give you the best results.

If you cannot locate blank Sony media, I have personally had the best results with TDK, Ativa, and Memorex DVD+R's and I avoid using DVD-R's because I end up throwing at least half of them away due to bad copies.

An exclamation point means that there is a problem with the device. Could be as simple as a corrupted driver. Try unistalling the drive from Control Panel>Add/Remove Harware. Reboot; then reinstall drive. Hope this helps.

Hello,

The Problem Is That You Do Not Have Enough Space In Your Windows Drive.

If You Have Just about 1GB Still May Be Not Enough According To Your ROM

You Should At least Have 4.5GB Free In Your Windows Drive For Disc"s to Perfectly Burn.

Good Day,

Try to solve the problem by looking into your PC. What all softwares have you installed? Are you having the problem when you are using some CD/Audio Players ( Does that program crash/hang usually ) ? Only install softwares that you think are useful. It can also be some maicious software. Always update you anti-virus AND anti-spyware. Uninstall all the unwanted softwares. If these dont help solve the problem,... I may help you if you could do the following steps. * When the problem occurs, open Windows Task Manager by pressing Ctrl, Shift, Esc together. * Under processes, note down the names of all the processes along with username and maybe memory usage. * Give all the particlars about your PC and post it to me ( Try "everest" from www.lavalys.com to prepare a report ). I shall look into the problem and try to help you.
