I have a Panasonic NN-SD986S microwave oven. Shortly after a power outage, I noticed the following: When the START button is pushed with any time on it, it pops the breaker on my panel. When I reset the breaker the microwave control panel lights up fine - the clock works fine. Just as soon as I press START it will pop the breaker.

Lots of condensation and dead, I assumed the internal fan had failed, so I let it cool and dry. I replaced the fuse, clock etc. works fine but pop when I press start.
Door interlock switches seem to be operating OK, not checked for their electrical function yet.
