Ok here goes,
You seem to know a bit about computers having changed out the inverter. First, does it happen intermittentlly wher it's actually ok, then goes bad. And was it the same before you changed it or better know. The rason I ask is maybe you got a bad inverter, "it does happen". Otherwise it may be the video card. Is it onboard video? you can order these with a card but most are on board. If that's the case are you using the interface from nvidia to adjust the resolution, as it may be set too high, along with the other settings and drivers. It may be a combination of things, including a power drop in the video circuit. Tests should be run , "if you are able" run a voltmeter to the powersupply and see if it is spiking or dropping rather than suggesting meters and scopes that I am sure you don't have. You know thw last thing on the list is the lcd, How old is the machine?. Let me know some of the stuff I asked so I can start to eliminate what I am sure it isn't, Thanks,

Did you press and hold for 30seconds. This helped with my laptop. Hope this helps.

you have install memory card driver first..

backup your data first in any external source. insert bootable cd of xp and boot from it. follow the instruction and finish the installation after that install required drivers and apps. in starting you need to select boot from cd., can be select-able from bios and also by pressing f12.

If the laptop was opened up, (ALL power removed -> AC adapter and battery; PLUS -> anti-static precautions taken!), and the laptop has a power on switch, (under the power on button), that plugs into the motherboard; you can unplug the switch, and touch the motherboard contacts to try to turn the laptop on. (Sorry about the run-on sentence) Jump a wire or similar, across the contacts, and see if the laptop turns on. Could try to be more specific, and detailed, if you had listed more info about the Fujitsu Lifebook. Such as it's Series number and Model Number. Example: Fujitsu Lifebook E8210. Recovery disc comes from the manufacturer and looks for the serial number of your computer. You would have to buy a recovery disc from the said manufacturer or just go buy a new operating system CD
