Can i use garmin C320 street pilot in italy
Most stock units are equipped with a US & Canada map if purchased in the US. Yes, the unit will work in Italy but you will need to add a Europe Map on an SD card, as the internal memory may not be large enough to hold both maps.

Touch screen
- Try to press and hold the reset botton for 10 seconds and then release and if this will not work try to download the new firmware.
- If still the same call the manufacturer try to replace it if its still under warranty or trade it in for a cheaper price.

No satellite reception
Your location is very critical. The receiver must see atleast 3 satellites to give you a good reading. You can't be inside a building, under a wide canope, in a tunnel, under dense folage, or anything else that would block most of the satellites. Get in a open field and try it again.

Touchscreen offset
Here's what you do: Turn off the gps. Then, hold the power button for approximately 30 seconds. The calibration screen will appear. Follow the instructions to re-calibrate the touch screen.

Can't save truck profile garmin 560 lmt
get a new unit... the street pilot series is outdated and it's a miracle that your unit is still working at all. Celebrate that you have gotten 10+ years out of that unit and go get your self a Dezl or RV unit

My Garmin will not stay on. It starts to come on then shuts off.
Hi Paulette,Many Garmin GPS units that only get powered by the car charger / cradle suffer from this problem eventually. The fix is pretty simple. You didn't include your model GPS, but I think this may help just the same:Connect the GPS to a computer's USB port, or AC adapter that has a USB port and leave on for 8 hours (or over night). Disconnect and and turn on again. If you have a Nuvi that has a spring return sliding power switch - slide and hold it in the on position for 15 seconds before letting go. It should power up just fine. You do not need to hold the power switch like this again to turn it on.If the GPS starts acting like this again, simply repeat the process as often as needed. Eventually, the internal battery will no longer be able to accept a charge and will require replacement.Good luck!

How to prevent Drive52 continually resetting itself ?
By 'resetting' you mean it switches off, and because it is connected to power, it boots back up. Do you have a SD Card in it?
I had trouble with a Nuvi 1350 with SD Card that had the whole USA Map on it, mine came with the Canada Map only. It would randomly turn off, so I decided to buy a Factory Refurbished Drive 50. I removed the SD Card and Reset the Nuvi and it worked perfectly after that.
The Drive 50 was also a bit flaky, and resetting fixed that as well.
You can back up your Favourites beforehand.

I have the Garmin etrex 20x and wish to calibrate the compass
I recently purchased a Garmin GPSMAP 78s
I had a lot of trouble calibrating the compass; I literally tried it hundreds of times without success. I also did a hard reset etc etc. Believe me I definitely tried everything possible but to no avail
I did contact Garmin but they didn't have an answer straight away for the problem
I have now sorted it as follows:
Do each step VERY SLOWLY, MUCH slower than you think you should
There are three steps to go through in calibrating the compass 1)Spinning the whole unit around flat 2)Flipping it over longitudinally and then 3) Flipping it over end to end. But remember do each step VERY slowly and go to the next step when prompted by the unit
This solved my issue. I can now calibrate my compass 9 out of 10 attempts
Hope that helps

Garmin nuvi 50LM cant access on mtp settings
To open the MTP settings on your Garmin Nuvi 50LM, you will need to access the device's menu. From the main menu, select the "Settings" option and then select the "System" option. From there, you should be able to access the MTP settings. If you are still unable to access the settings, you may need to contact the manufacturer for assistance.
