I created map using 'Mapwel'
Hi,
I have the same issue on a Nuvi 350. Navigating to a POI is not a problem, whereas typing an address is not possible. My Nuvi350 is complaining about not being able to find the country...

Geoffrey
Where can I buy a replacement speaker 205W
"don't come dressed as the wolf in sheep?s clothing". Obviously you
haven't been to my site because if you had, you would see that I have
many pages offering advice of things to try BEFORE people take the last
resort in getting their units serviced.
Why should I type all of the information over and over, when I can just provide a link?
I try to explain what causes these problems so that people understand
why something has happened, so they don't get ripped off by a repair
shop. Again, you didn't know that, because you were too quick to judge
and use profanity against me.
I even have a forum that I answer questions about GPS problems along
with tips. No, you didn't know that, because your a person that attacks
before knowing the facts.
I've been helping people on this site for a couple years and you know
what? You're the 1st person who has attacked me. Read my feedback then
read yours.....
Good luck with those speakers on "MOUSER", not "MOSER" as you stated.
They'll last you about a week unless you modify the TTS voices with a
hex editor, but I guess you knew that too.
I was responding to someone else's question when you slammed me. Sorry
bud but that was wrong and to specifically name me like I am some sort
of a criminal, we'll that's just plain wrong too.
I used to sell speakers on Ebay Know what happened? The majority of
people broke their GPS trying to take it apart. So how did that help
them?
I think I know who you are though. You're the one that harassed me via email because I wouldn't sell you a speaker.
Oh and you said I should warn people? Well buddy look at the bottom of
nearly every page on my site! What does it say about do-it-yourself
repairs? Your comments tell me you don't do very good research before
you accuse people.
But thanks for sharing your thoughts..... ;)
Replace battery on a nuvi 360
Please see this link. Please don't try to do it yourself. You risk damaging your unit.

My garming says no detailed
Press Tools, then press Settings, then press Map, then press Map Info. There should be a tick beside the map name. If not press the map name and a tick will appear. The problem should then be solved.
If that doesn't solve the problem it may be because the map is locked. If so go to www.garmin.com and if the satnav is registered click on My Garmin, then on Maps where you'll find the unlock code. If the satnav is not registered you'll need to connect it to the computer and register it first.
No detailed maps found that support routing
reason being you may not have an SD card inserted with maps otherwise your maps have been deleted. try running the map update on the unit and it should reinstall the maps for you... if the SD card is not missing you may have a faulty SD card or SD card slot.
My gps works up to the point that it cannot locate satellites
Try answering yes. If the original location has been lost due to battery replacement etc, These devices go to a home location which may be anywhere to begin looking for the satelites. It could take 30 minutes or more to locate itself. Just turn it on and let it look for a long time.
