The laptop would need to be taken completely apart cause you have to get to the bottom of the motherboard. Once you can get there then you need a soldering iron to take the old one off and some solder and a soldering iron to put the new one on. Put the laptop back together and your laptop will be as good as new.

laptops don't come with disc's these days (cheap scates) you normally have to make the recovery disc's when you first use the laptop,if the laptop is dead on arrival, as yours is, talk to the people you purchased it off, as it will be covered by a warranty,

when you boot up, look on the screen for the keyboard key, you need to push, to go into restoring the laptop to factory settings, sometimes (F11),but i think you should talk to the supplier of the laptop first.

try to clean the socket on the computer, when the socket become rusted/slack it may become warm. use sandpaper to remove the rust then use contact cleaner spray. don't forget to remove the battery pack when you clean the socket. or... There might be a problem with the battery pack. Try using a replacement battery pack of the same type. hope this help..

Try first dissabling the wired network adaptor, so as the pc is not looking for the wrong area connection. If you have used Windows to try to repair the connection the settings will be wrong for the router addreses. Go to your wireless network cards properties and make sure that on the internet protocol the obtain IP address automatically is selected. Run this flush:- Click Start>Run, then type ipconfig /flushdns then press enter. Re-start pc and type the routers address in your internet browser. Go to your router settings and ensure enable DHCP is set to automatically allocate ip addresses.

That button can be set using the utility on your programs list

It maybe that you accidentally turned it off or set it to do some other task.

Start there first before re-installing the program that sets it.
That is on one of the cds that should have come with it and can be installed by itself.
