DO NOT mess with the (D:) drive.
This is where your backup system files are located to restore your computer.
For the (C:) drive;
1) Burn off to disk/s or thumb drive/s, any extra personal data that you can live without having on the computer, and can always view/use later.
Pictures, Videos, Music, personal documents you have created, documents or data that you have downloaded, etc.
2) Click on Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.
Remove any programs you haven't used in a long time, and can live without.
(Or have on disk to reinstall later if you need it)
DO NOT delete any Windows programs.
3) Defragment the Harddrive.
Click on Start > Control Panel > Performance and Maintenance > Rearrange items on your harddive to make programs run faster
Be sure (C:) drive is highlighted.
Click on Analyze at the bottom.
Even if the small pop up states that You Do Not Need To Defragment this Drive, do so anyway.
Once started suggest you Do Not stop it in the middle, nor lose electricity to your computer while the harddrive is being defragmented.
4) Use a Registry cleaner next.
I use CCleaner, and for two reasons.
One it's FREE.
Two it works, and works as good as the paid for versions, and better than some of the paid for versions.

Have to remove the Acer Aspire 3624WXCi motherboard to install Ram Memory?
No
Who told you that?
You Do Not have to do this with any laptop.
1) ALL power removed from the laptop. Remove the AC adapter (Charger) and Battery.
2) Laptop closed turn it over, battery compartment facing Away from you.
In the middle of the laptop is a funny shaped panel cover.
Looks like a square with a rectangle attached to the bottom of it.
The square shape has two screws at the top, and where the square shape meets the rectangle shape, there are three screws going across.
(Philips head screws > +)
Remove these screws.
The panel has a tab on one end. The end that doesn't have any screws. Lift the panel up on the end that has two screws.
The Ram Memory module/s are in the ram memory slots. (Ram memory module = ram memory 'stick')
