calculator help for algebra 1

do you know what mode i should have it in for algebra 1? Is it compex mode? I cannot figure out how to enter equations and stuff. Not even this ^ can I find. Your help is appreciated. I have a final tomorrow, but am very unfamilar w/ the calculator.

When I do a simple decimal calulations (5.3- 4.5) and get the answer (0.8), I should be able to press the F-D key to convert to 4/5. It does not work,. If I do a calulation that starts with a fraction, I can then convert the to a decimal....

I have to calulate things such as f(31) = 13.49(.967)^31 - 1. How would I do this? In my math book it says that scientific calculators have a y^x key but I don't see one. PLEASE HELP ME!!!

I have a Casio MJ 100. It seems incapable of accurately calculating percentages. If I type in 100 minus 20% it answers 400! Is it time to throw it away?

I have a Royal CMS 482 Plus and it didn't work when I first got it then a couple months later it would make this high pitch noise when I plugged it in and the display would show zero now it doesn't work at all

All of the sudden my Canon MP11DX calculator quit printing on the tape. I have put in a new ink cartridge, but this was not the problem. What else is wrong? Why won't it print on the tape?

whenever i press sin, cos, or tan, put in a number, and press enter, a wrong answer always comes up. when i do it another calculator, the correct answer comes up. how can i fix this problem? i know there is a way to do this.

Our cash register wont allow us to punch anything in at all. Any time that you touch a key, the error sign appears as does the high pitch alarm. What is wrong? The batteries have been replaced.

I have a triangle 1 angle 90 degrees, 1 angle 53 degrees and one angle 37 degrees. I have the length between the 90 degree and the 37 degree which is 45 feet. I need to know what the length is between the 90 degree and the 53 degree angles. thanks
