L4-02 - Drum Motor Lock.

1. Remove the process unit, remove the drum & check the waste toner auger & gear assembly.
2. You will probably find this is seized or broken due to excessive drum cleaning.
3. When changing the drum & developer, you must reset the rotation counters as well as the drum/dev counters. Otherwise, there is excessive over-toning, leading to waste toner filling the toner cartridge waste area too quickly & therefore leading to waste toner auger assembly blocking up.
4. You will probably need a new process unit as the auger drive gear has been known to break off the frame.
5. There is new firmware for this problem. Have a service professional update the firmware for this device and the problem will be gone.

H4 error is heat roller under temperature, try pressing the "#" key then "Interrupt" key then "C" key then "Interrupt" key to get into simulation mode and enter 14 and press start the follow instructions on screen (should be press ok). This will reset the code and restart the machine. When the machine restarts if the error was not mechanical the machine should go. If not you have one of two most likely problems; you need to reset the thermal cut-outs on the fuser unit or the fuser lamp is blown.

Shut the machine off, unplug the finisher from the copier, then plug it back in. Make sure the finisher is securely attached to the machine, then turn the machine back on. If that doesn't work, remove the finisher completely and use the machine without. Call a service technician to diagnose your finisher problem.

Sim 62-1 will reformat the hard drive if there is one. On the key pad press POUND-STAR-CLEAR-STAR and enter SIM 62 copy button 1 copy button. If you cant get into sim 62 there is no hard drive. If you can get into sim 62-1 then follow the display press yes. and that will reformat your harddrive.

Question edited for clarity. Remove the curl out of the paper by running 6" across the edge of a desk against the curl. With scissors, cut the end 1/2" straight. Then cut a 1/2" off both corners at 45 degrees. Hello, Just replace toner cartridge or refill the toner container with refillable sharp ar202 refill bottle or sachet. Remember to remove waste toner if you are refilling, right.
