You should make sure all of your batteries are up to snuff. I believe you are being kicked off line due to a power problem. In this case, the power is supplied by a battery. Your battery may be at the end of its useful life. The cues and clues are the codes you are receiving. Oct 2005 may be the date on the battery ... I usually am pleased to get three years use from such a battery.
You may discover that you can replace the phone for less money than you can replace the battery, BTW. Replacing the phone will also update your security and technology. Also, you may find the battery is obsolere - I dont know this to be the case.
Can it be fixed? Try the battery first. If that doesn't do it, I am sure there is a shop in your town where the man or woman inside can make repairs. The real question will be do you want to invest a lot of $ into this 6 year old telephone?

The cordless is not in sync with the base. You must set the same frequency on both, the base as well as the handset. For this follow the instructions in the manual.

To register an AT&T SynJ SB67108 handset to a new SB67138 base unit, you will need to follow these steps:
