Sony VAIO PCV-W600G PC Desktop Questions & Answers
Sony vaio pcg k 15 notebook beeps on starup
If you hit some keys and then it starts - it indicates a stuck key on the keyboard. Check the keys to make sure they are all fully up and nothing has been spilled on them or gotten stuck under them. Keys can be removed usually by prying gently under the edge and replaced by pressing down firmly. Probably what is happening is the if a program opens and you see a series of 4's is that the "4" key is the one sticking partially and preventing boot up. The beeeep is simply to tell you something is wrong with hardware, ie: keyboard, mouse, memory will all generate a long beep or several short beeps. The owners manual will list beep codes to help you determine where to look to find the problem.

Sony VAIO PCV-W600G PC Desktop
Have the same problem. After chatting with the online help, they informed me that I need to purchase the original discs to get this software. When I try to do that it says that they are no longer available and neither are the replacements. I emailed them for an answer to the problem. I saw on a forum that there are companies that have the discs, but so far I havent found them. BUMMER!

To uninstall the software Deep Freeze must first be disabled and then
uninstalled.
To disable Deep Freeze:
-
Hold down the shift key and double-click on the Deep Freeze icon.
Alternatively, you can press Crtl-Alt-Shift-F6. You should now see a
password dialog.
- Enter your password and click OK. If you have
not yet entered a password you should be able to click OK without
entering anything. You should now see a dialog with boot options.
- Select "Boot thawed" and click OK. This will disable
Deep Freeze on the next reboot.
- Reboot your machine. After the machine reboots you are
ready to uninstall Deep Freeze.
To uninstall:
-
Locate the installation file you used to install Deep Freeze to this
machine. By default the name of this file is called "DF5Std.exe" for
versions 5.X and "DF6Std.exe" for versions 6.X.
- Run the installation file (DF5Std.exe or DF6Std.exe).
- Select the option to "Uninstall"
- The software should uninstall and reboot the machine.
When the machine reboots, Deep Freeze should be uninstalled.

Vaio keyboard ?
I just finished working on a pcv-w510g and in my case it seems some liquid was dropped on it, and the chip is messed up. (i saw this when i opened it).
you can try to:
Plug in another keyboard and type in the password.
Try to acess the bios and disable stop on keyboard errors.
Or open the keyboard and unplug it compleatly if it helps.
Or take out the HDD and put it in an external enclosure or in another pc to get the data off.

How do I unlock vaio keyboard?
It's likely your number lock is on. Look for the "Num Lck" or similar key on the top right of your keyboard and make sure it's disabled to type correctly.
Please rate me if this solution works for you
Thanks......Have a great time
