Will not print from computer
Hi,Try the steps belowGo to Start / Run and type in "services.msc" without quotation marks, then press Enter or click OK.(If you are using Windows Vista/Win 7, You need to click on START button and under search program and files - Enter the Services.msc and click the same program from Program list that appear )In the window that opens (Services) look for "Print Spooler" on the rightRight-click "Print Spooler" and select "Properties".Click on the "Recovery" tab and change all 3 drop-down boxes to "Restart The Service".Make sure the 2 text boxes underneath say "1" in them.Click Ok until you are back at the Services window, close it and you're good to go.Go back into the properties of the "Print Spooler" tab and be sure to click Start to restart the Print Spooler service and it will restart the service immediately.The Print spooler depends on the Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service. Hi,
HP has a Fax no. to test.
Send any test page as fax on the 1-888-473-2963 and wait till it is send. Once the fax is sent, you will receive a fax as notification ( confirmation ) of the fax being received by HP.
This above no. sometimes is busy so you may need to give couple of tries till you succeed.
Or the best way is to send fax to any of your friend who owns a fax machine and ask them to send fax back to you.

Hi,
Unplug the printer for few minutes, say 15 minutes and then try to turn it on. This would reset the printer. If the problem persists, this is an internal failure and needs to be repaired.
I am buying the fact that even the operating light is not working.
Also, try to reinstall the printer. Sometimes, this trick works like anything.
The first and easiest to test is the outlet it is connected to.
To test that just try another outlet and see if there is a difference.
If
there isn't next is to check the power cable with a multimeter and make
sure it is sending an electric current to the machine.
If it is not then that cable needs to be replaced.
If it is then unfortunately the power supply unit inside the machine itself has failed and needs to be replaced.
Unfortunately this can sometimes cost more to replace than the machine itself.

HP offficejet 4315V all in one will print but wont scan.
Go thru your control panel to "Printers and other Hardware",open that and you'll see "scanners and cameras".Open it and your printer will be there,highlight it and in the left column will be "get pictures".Click it and you'll be able to scan.
Brought a new computer and the printer will not
Almost certainly a driver problem. You need to go to the printer manufacturer website and search around for a driver for that printer and your operating system (XP? Visa?). Look under 'Support'. It is possible that they don't do a printer driver for the new operating system, so you will have to get a new printer. Blame Gates.
Faxes
Have the phone line checked first? You can do this yourself by plugging a test phone in the wall jack or if the fax machine is one of the types that has a handset, just pick it up and call somebody and if you can carry on a two way conversation with them the phone line should be ok and the fax machine will need to be repaired or replaced, which ever is more economical.
My printer dont start.
Just returning the printer back to where you bought it and get your money back. You still have your warrant with you don't waist your money. It's too soon to be talking about a new printer with tons of problem.
