Display not available after a few second....i

Replace the high voltage transformer. It is the ballast for the backlight.. If you could pinpoint the one that's overheating then that is the one that needs replacement. Much better if you will replace the four transformer...

Hope that answer your question..
Much appreciated if you could rate this help. thanks.

Black out

In most cases, the problem is caused by faulty filter capacitors in the power supply. You can open the back and replace the capacitors that look bulged and leaky or replace all the electrolytics in the power supply board. If it continues to turn off like that, the tubes are at the end of their service life.If you have no desire to buy a new monitor at that point, the tubes are able to be replaced, but for overall simplicity- just order the replacements aet up for your specific monitor from Dell. Make sure they have the boots, the plastic attachments and connector for "drop in" use. If the tubes require connectors to be soldered on, it gets tedious and is not worth it from a standpoint of shop time..

Monitor turns off after a few seconds. Have to

my_secret_mb, Stop pressing the ON/OFF switch! It's broke!!! The unit's internal power supply will need some work done on it. Unit will need to be evaluated first!! This is a common problem for ALL LCD monitors. If unit out of warranty period, then you will need to do some intense speed reading of my higher page number responses in my fixya profile to understand the problem your cold-cathode-fluorescent-lamp back-lit lcd monitor has and the options that you have. You will also need to base your decision on the age and total number of "ON" hours unit has seen during it's lifetime. Do not dispair or feel sad about what has happened to your monitor. A low side guess would be 50 units/day fail world-wide. Your unit may have failed filter capacitors or possible failed solder joint on printed circuit board. (thermally intermittant) I hope this helps you. 12fixlouie north of "Windy City" USA

I want to know about some adventures video games?

Check out Big Fish Games. It is a subscription service but they have all types of games including adventure and hidden object. You can also tryp Pogo since they have both a fee and subscription service. Last, but not least, you can try one of your local computer stores or the electronics section of "big box" stores like Target, Walmart, Kmart, etc.

I've got a dell inspiron 20 model 3052 series how do you reset it to factory settings or reset the password thought it was a monitor any help would be very greatfull!

Unfortunately, resetting a Dell Inspiron 20 model 3052 series to factory settings requires you to use a recovery disk or USB drive, as the system does not include a built-in resetting option. To reset your password, you will need to use a password or recovery disk. You can create a password or recovery disk using the Dell Support website.

Dell Precision M4600 will not go past POST, Stops at Preparing to enter setup

If your Dell Precision M4600 is getting stuck at the "Preparing to enter setup" stage during POST, you might want to try a few troubleshooting steps. 1. **Power Cycle:** Disconnect the laptop from the power source, remove the battery (if possible), and hold down the power button for about 15 seconds. Then, reconnect the battery and power source and try booting again. 2. **Reset BIOS:** You could try resetting the BIOS settings to their default values. To do this, look for a small button battery on the motherboard. Disconnect the laptop from power and remove the battery. Press and hold the power button for a few seconds to discharge any remaining power. Then, locate the battery, remove it for a minute or so, and put it back. This will reset the BIOS settings to default. 3. **Update BIOS:** If the issue persists, you might need to update the BIOS. Check the Dell support website for your laptop model and download the latest BIOS update. Follow the instructions to update the BIOS. 4. **Check Hardware:** If the issue is not resolved, it might be related to a hardware problem. Try removing and reseating components like RAM, hard drive, and any expansion cards. 5. **External Devices:** Disconnect all external devices (USB drives, external hard drives, printers, etc.) and try booting again. Sometimes, a faulty external device can cause boot issues. 6. **Diagnostic Lights:** Dell laptops often have diagnostic LED lights that provide information about hardware issues. Check the user manual for your laptop model to interpret these lights. If none of these steps resolve the issue, it might be worth seeking professional assistance or contacting Dell support for further guidance.
