If moisture condensation has occurred, remove the recordable media (tape) and then turn off and leave the media compartment open for the hour the camcorder is turned off . The camcorder can be used again if the warning indicator does not appear when the power is turned on again.
Moisture condensation normally occurs when the camcorder is brought directly from a cold place to a warm place. It can condense inside the camcorder, on the recording media, or the lens and cause a malfunction.
To prevent moisture condensation when you bring your camcorder from a cold place into a warm place, put your camcorder in a plastic bag and seal it tightly. Remove the bag when the air temperature inside the plastic bag has reached the surrounding temperature.

Hi
Plastic tabs, and small connectors / connector holders don't make a good business.
I've never seen anyone who would sell those mainboard parts. You will most likely have to contact the manufacturer of the mainboard and see if you can get them to sell you the part, or ask another expert, maybe someone on this site knows. But I'll bet this is the best you can get.

It sounds like a problem with the firmware in the camcorder itself. As an authorized Sony repair person, I have gotten no technical bulletin on this model. The firmware is preloaded into the microprocessor IC. You will need to have this unit looked at by an authorized Sony repair center who specializes in camcorder repairs or send the unit to a Sony factory service center. good Luck
CAN I SAVE MY HD TAPES TO DISC AND PLAY BACK AS HIGH DEFINITION?
At this point, unless you have a blu-ray or HD-DVD burner in your computer (and equivalent player), then you can't save HD to a DVD and have it play back in a regular DVD player. You should be able to transfer the HD video through firewire to the computer, but you might have to wait for a while until you can burn them to HD compatible DVDs.
The only other option that I know of is to encode the HD video using a DivX codec (http://www.divx.com/) and just burn the file itself to the DVD, then if your DVD player can play DivX files, then you should be able to play it back on that.
