Certain things can make a blender not to spin.might be a Bad motor spin that might need to be replace, or the blender might need to be cleaned up due to dust in it not making it to spin properly...

You might need to do the below tips and after then, we will know what next..

Remove the switch housing from the base housing by carefully lifting the lower corners of the decal or facing that surrounds the push buttons. Then remove the lower screws on the unit with a screwdriver.


Spray your electrical contacts on your blender with contact cleaner. Also, spray the openings and terminals in the back of the switch block. If the cleaning doesn't solve the problem, replace the switches.


Check the fuse on your blender by taking the unit apart enough to remove the wire connector joining power cord and the lead containing the fuse. Set your volt-ohm meter to RX1 and clip the probes to both ends of the lead. If the reading is high, replace the fuse.


Unjam the blade shaft by disassembling the drive as far as you can and strike the shaft against a wood block. Lubricate the parts with white grease.


Replace the jar coupling by holding the cap nut with taped pliers. Turn the coupling clockwise to remove it. If you need to replace the motor coupling, hold the motor shaft with pliers and unscrew the coupling. To reassemble after you have replaced the shaft or coupling units, follow these instructions backwards

Tips & Warnings

Place your blender on a clean, dry surface when you use it to keep foreign material from being drawn into the motor.

Clean the jar of your blender after every time you use it. You can clean it most effectively by filling the jar half full with warm water, adding liquid dish soap and running the blender for about five seconds on a low speed. Then run the blender with clean water to rinse it.

Clean the base of your blender with a damp rag.

Don't let the power cord of your blender touch any hot surfaces or hang over the edge of your counter. Damaged cords are dangerous.

Don't store the jar on your blender without having it seated properly.

Don't ever lift the jar until your motor has fully stopped. You might damage your drive stud if you lift it up prematurely.

what you need to do from here is that you have to take off all what your mixer contain i mean the ginger wash it very well make sure that no part is left over in it

then pull the switch button up and down that is on and off at a time and make sure that it is unplug to AC you will see it working

please make sure that your ginger is soft or in small size so that it can be easily blend

Using your blade holder, turn the motor from the blade end. 1 or two turns. Tak the blade holder out, Plug in an test Sometimes the brushes in the mototor lose a good contact. SGood Luck -Ned-

Check if leaking at the bearing for the blade.

If the bearing has worn, dis-assemble and coat shaft with food-safe grease and re-assemble. Also coat the seals with the grease.

Are you blending ice cubes? They are NOISY. Blenders are generally noisy!

clean and tighten blade --if still leaks replace seal or need replacement base if damaged

Some lubricant might make removal easy.

Yes fixable a number of ways Remove the blades and punch out the shaft. Clean it all and then reassemble it with lots of water pump grease (it's waterproof). Seizing happens because liquid goes down between the shaft and housing and sets. Or You can replace the blade assembly. At least on Amazon, the customer reviews are not so good ... only a 3.1 out of 5 for 38 reviews. Some of the poor ratings are that the unit just stopped working or a plastic housing part broke. You may have blown the motor. If it is still under warranty, and you have the receipt, you might consider shipping it back to Cuisinart ... but you pay for the shipping

If the power light is on and the motor is not running the circuit board that starts the motor is defective. You could try to bypass the control board and apply power directly to the motor to verify the motor is ok and no blown fuse or circuit breaker. then you get to replace the circuit board or isolate a failing component on the circuit board.
