please allow me a few moments to review your post and type my reply. Depending on the model number of the fan, it may not have a reverse switch as the reverse feature was specific to the remote control and not a manual feature on the fan. Many of the reverse switches are on the top of the fans and not visible like older fans.

You don't.! Why would you want to anyway.? The temperature settings are there for a reason.

try setting fan on high using chaib pull switch

Black to black out of the ceiling, blue and white go to the white wire out of the ceiling

Because it's a wall remote. Remotes will work fan & light with one hot wire. You should have a receiver in the canopy of the fan.
