My IBM T43 ThinkPad's screen has suddenly dulled dramatically. I normally use my laptop plugged into an external monitor, but when I disconnected it to use the lap to solo, the screen was so dull it was barely visable. I shut down and restarted a couple of times, but still nothing. When plugged into my external monitor again, I can see the screen on the monitor, but still nothing on my laptop screen. My laptop is plugged into power - not battery operated. I went into the bios setup and the brightness of my screen was set to normal. I changed it to high, but it still isn't making a difference. Any suggestions?
