Flashing red light on the Kensington wireless mouse base

I still have the manual for my mouse.  Model number 64321.
When this mouse was manufactured it used NiCad batteries which developed a memory much more than the newer batteries.  The older NiCad batteries needed to be conditioned occasionally so Kensington provided a way to do that with the charging base.
The red light is for indicating discharge status of NiCad batteries.
The red light will flash quickly when you press the battery discharge button on the bottom of the base.  This indicates that you now have 5 seconds to place the mouse in the charging base for battery discharge.
The red light will flash flash more slowly when the battery is being discharged.
After the battery is fully discharged, the base will then charge the batteries.
It should be noted that very few manufacturers of products that utilized NiCad batteries provided a "battery conditioning" feature.  Kensington was unique in this regard.  Battery conditioning allowed NiCad batteries to have a longer useful life.

Now maybe you can help me....  I lost my power supply that plugs into the USB connector.  If you have yours, can you tell me what the output voltage is and what the polarity is of the inner pin.  This will be marked right on the power supply base.
I plan to just get a generic power supply from Radio Shack, but I need the voltage value and polarity.  Until then, I can still use the mouse, but it won't charge.  FOr now, I'm just using standard AAA batteries.
Thanks.

My kensington trackball mouse will not work on your games.

Long ago Kensington never made the change to their driver when Microsoft went from DirectX 11 to 12 I called them and they refused to listen to me. Very poor caliper of people in charge there. Shame as the Trackball is a very good alternative to both the mouse and a joystick. If they would update the driver then the trackball maybe a popular way to play games The only way you can get it to work is to plugin another mouse It will then work with all games

My little mouse stopped working for no reason k72212

If it is a wireless mouse check the battery. Otherwise, replace the mouse. Check the cable to see if any critters have been chewing on it. My cat chomped the mouse cable and it ruined the motherboard

How do I turn on my key board when connected to my apple I pad

If it's a bluetooth keyboard you simply have to pair it with the iPad. By pair you would go into your iPad, Settings, Bluetooth. Make sure it's bluetooth is switched on then press the button on the top right of the keyboard. I attached a picture of where the button is. After that you should see on your iPad while you still have your bluetooth settings pulled up a new keyboard shows up and it will say not connected. Click on it and it will ask you to enter some keys on the blue tooth keyboard to make sure you got the right one. I am assuming this is the apple bluetooth keyboard they sell in stores, if it isn't please reply with what type of keyboard you have and I can figure out what button to press.

Any idea why my keyboard keys 2,w,s,x will not work?

It is most likely a broken wire in the cord or a crack in the keyboard board. Cheapest solution is a new keyboard. Even the wireless ones are usually under $30 and wired ones about $10.
