Hi:

Have the flyback transformer replaced, also on RCA models it is common pratice to replace the Horizontal Output Transistor replaced also, as these parts work in conjunction with each other, when one fails the best repair solution is to replace them both because or major stress due to one or the other failing..

Set-up (Programming) procedure is too much to type in here, and is not practical and it will differ brand-to-brand remote controls. If you wish to get more; check the sites linked here. The site has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. The site has general set-up codes to check with TVs and other devices are given, in the order of the 'device's brand name list' in alphabetical order. Set-up code list to many brand remote controls also is given. Pull up older posts. Search the sites by type in the brand name to your device in its search box at the top right part of the display window. It will help you to find the document easily.

Programming Notes
• If your device does not respond to the remote after trying all codes listed or your brand is not listed in the code list, use the Auto Code Search method to program your remote.
• Sometimes the first code that "works" with your device may operate only a few functions of your device. There may be another code in the code list that performs more functions. Try other codes from the code list for more functionality.
This is a trial and error procedure; and quiet time consuming. You might have to check different codes said for your device.
Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device; [Exclude the model number], in the "Search box at the top right of the display window of the Homepage" to get gathered related posts. At first, you should make sure that the remote control you have, had a code for your TV brand. If yes, you can program that remote control to control your TV. Make sure it first. If there is no code said, you can't.

You can find the Owner's Manual and the Programming guide at the Voxx International Zendesk site for the antenna rotator: https://voxxintl.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/225488908-Information-Owners-Manual-and-Support-for-the-RCA-VH126N-Antenna-Rotator . The Owner's Manual has the installation directions; the current link to the manual is http://www.voxxintl.com/search/?sku=VH126N&t=OM .

I hope this helps.

Does anyone have a answer for this problem I'm going through the same thing here?

Hi Yvonne, as you comment, there may be two reasons for failure, the internal RCA straps stretched and therefore fail to transmit the movement so that it works correctly and the other reason, the VHS tapes, which are wet
Observe through the two upper windows of the Video cassette, that the tape is without any white spots, if white spots appear, these are due to moisture and the tape with humidity, it cannot move correctly inside the video cassette, and can cause the fault what do you describe
Also verify that the drum of the video heads is clean and free of moisture
I hope you can watch your videos
Regards Franco Dosil

Espero puedas ver tus videos
Saludos Franco Dosil
