Weak or no signal message
- Since my problem (Samsung/Comcast) began with a channel selection button pushed on the TV remote when it should have been pushed on the cable remote, I figured the problem lay with the TV. Although I was getting the "weak or no signal" msg., the actual signal strength bar graphic showed it to be strong. Disconnecting did no good. I surmised that the TV was simply not recognizing the box.
- I looked at the manual for my Samsung 750 model.
- Page 20 discussed "Selecting the source". I accessed the TV menu and selected "Input", then chose the "HD..." item from the highlighted list. Voila! My tv works again.

Samsung ln-s4092d no red tint
There are a few things that can cause this. Your t-con board, the signal board or the screen itself. The most likelly and cheapest would be the t-con board. This is the board that transfers your picture from the signal board to your screen. You would have to open up your tv and get the part number from the board itself. You can get get parts for this tv at www.interliquidparts.com

Samsung 40" tv won't turn on
i had the same problem, you'll have to call the samsung service center. You TV's part which looks after the voltage connectivity has failed. This majorly happens due to voltage fluctuations. The part will cost around Rs. 2800 and service charges will be applied by the company.

LN-S4092D 40 in Samsung tv.
Hi,
Please take out main board and power supply of set 1 and 2 and test them in set 3 as it is still working, swap set 1 and 2 boards in set 3 just to narrow down problem.
Set 3 got lcd panel (screen) problem as it is showing white vertical line and lcd panel is very expensive part that would cost you approx new tv price so I would recommend to utilize its boards to fix/ repair set 1 and 2
Hope this will help you.
Thanks.

I have a samsung 40
The fault you have mentioned is caused by faulty capacitors usually those on the Power supply board and/or SSB main board. I would suggest that you take a good look at the board and look for capacitors with swollen or cracked tops. The problem is caused by the caps unable to sustain their charge discharge cycle for a long time due to lost or corrupt electrolyte.

My two year old son pushed a button on the remote
try going to the tv itself and push the source/input button. you should go to the correct source to get your picture back. try looking for the input or source button on the remote as well. that should do the trick -gab
