SanDisk Sansa m200 (2 GB) MP3 Player Questions & Answers
Usb not detecting
Please check your USB with another player and confirm that it is not detecting. If so the fault is with the memory . It is possible that the ipod had detected some faulty files and so has errors within which can be a reason. Try and reset and see if the ipod resumes. if the ipod is still not detected then it is possible that there is errors within. allow battery to drain off fully and see if the fault changes.
How do I clear the songs from mySanDisk
Connect to supplies USB cable to your MP3 player and connect the other end to the USB port on your computer. The computer will see the MP3 player as an external storage device, you can then select the mp3 music files you want to delete (they may be in a music folder) then press the Delete key on your computer just like any unwanted files on your computer.
I couldn't find Sansa on my computer when I connect with USB cable!
Go into the device manager by right clicking on my computer, hitting manage, and highlighting device manager.
Expand the usb devices section and see if there are any unknown devices listed.
Hit view Show hidden devices if you cant find anything.
Remove anything that says unknown device.
Take out the device from the computer, install the most recent software from their website.
Connect the device back.
Can't sync
Try sansa with a diffrent XP service pack or Use Winamp ( Newest version ) and use it's syncing option

EDIT** Sometimes going into your computer and finding the drive your music is in doesn't work. You cand delete it all you want and it reappears. If this happens or you just want ALL files on your device erased go to My computer>(drive your device is plugged into)right click it>Format it ... But this is another alternative that will help if the other 2 ways don't work.

Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that
you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want,

Memory problem
Hello J.kam
Use disk management to format it.
At times we use other format like fat or fat32.
Try this.

Do a google search and see if you can find a free download of your manual. Had you connected your player before? Could your computer read your player before?
