Connect to supplies USB cable to your MP3 player and connect the other end to the USB port on your computer. The computer will see the MP3 player as an external storage device, you can then select the mp3 music files you want to delete (they may be in a music folder) then press the Delete key on your computer just like any unwanted files on your computer.

Go into the device manager by right clicking on my computer, hitting manage, and highlighting device manager. Expand the usb devices section and see if there are any unknown devices listed. Hit view Show hidden devices if you cant find anything. Remove anything that says unknown device. Take out the device from the computer, install the most recent software from their website. Connect the device back.

go to my computer click on your mp3 player icon it could possibly under drive f: open it up click on the song you want to delete go to the left hand side of the screen and there will be a button saying delete from device click it will delete it. you could also go to the windows media player and click syncronize on the right hand side their should be column with the items of music on it click the song you want to delete and then right click it. it will say delete and then delete it from jacob

EDIT** Sometimes going into your computer and finding the drive your music is in doesn't work. You cand delete it all you want and it reappears. If this happens or you just want ALL files on your device erased go to My computer>(drive your device is plugged into)right click it>Format it ... But this is another alternative that will help if the other 2 ways don't work.

good luck....

Deleting Files,Pictures,Videos,Audio
Books, etc. from MP3 Player
Hook up your mp3 player to your computer
Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer"
When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal
Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there.
Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on
"Open" and now your files/songs should be visible.
Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that
you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want,
release, right click and then click on "Delete"
Now your mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want.
Be careful and do not delete files needed to operate your MP3 player.
Good Luck,
I hope this helps

Hello J.kam
Use disk management to format it.
At times we use other format like fat or fat32.
Try this.
