Does anyone know if mine, a SanDisk 1.0 GB is

Definitely! You don't need the software at all. Just connect the player to your computer with the USB. It should open as a disk drive (if it asks you, choose 'open folder to view files') and then you can just copy music to it with drag and drop. Then use 'safely remove hardware' before you unplug it again, and you should be 'good to go'.

I have a sansa and

Hello,

Sorry to hear about your trouble.

First make sure the MP3 player has a charge. Plug it into the wall for 30 minutes then try to turn it on. If it has a removable battery, go ahead and remove the battery and put it back in.
If you are still having trouble, you may have to perform a hard reset of the device. Usually, you can do this by pressing the small reset button on the back/bottom of the device and holding it for 30 seconds. Beware, this may delete any music, videos and settings on the device.

If you are not able to get it working with the above tips, I would recommend you reach out to the technical support for the device. You can click here for tech support. The device may need to be replaced and maybe free if under warranty.

Regards,

Not enough space

Hello. You will need to delete a few tracks from your MP3 player to in order to add more songs.

Simply select the songs you wish to delete, right click, and click "Delete" or "Move to Recycle Bin"

To select more than one song at a time, you can multi-select by selecting one song, holding down Ctrl on your keyboard, and selecting the others until all songs you don't want are selected.

1 Gb is rather small, coming in at about 1024 Megabytes. The average cd quality Mp3 file is around 3.5 to 5 megabytes in size.

1024 / 5 = 204.8

This means you will only be able to fit around 203 high-quality mp3s on your player at one time, and will periodically need to delete and replace them as your music library gets larger.

With these smaller capacity mp3 players, it is often handy to arrange your music library into small folders on your computer so that you can simply clear the player and drop in the contents of one folder. You can even monitor how many files are in each folder to ensure you don't run into this problem often.

I hope this was helpful. -

The easiest way that I have found to put music onto non-ipod MP3 players is to use a program called MediaMonkey. Just ensure that your MP3 player is plugged in when you start the program and it will show up on the left hand panel of the program. For further clarification please reply.

How do i load itunes music onto my sansa mp3

If you are on a Mac Computer you can highlight the songs in iTunes and then drag them to the Sansa Disk on your desktop.
If you are on a PC (i'm not sure if it works the same for both) you can right click on the song and click open containing folder and it will display where the songs are located on your computer (usually this is My Documents/Music/itunes/itunes media/music) From there you can drag them into the sansa disk to copy them.
Hope this helps
