Toshiba tecra M2 LCD Screen
A pinkish tint is indication that the backlight tube inside the screen is not fully lit. But then it goes black - meaning the tube shut down? That part don't make much sense - it's certainly possible, though.
Replacing tubes is pretty surgical so I wouldn't recommend it. Replacing the screen should be pretty darn easy. A good, used screen should be pretty cheap on eBay, so that's where I'd start.

I need to change the tip of the stylus
Hello,
I own a Toshiba Tablet PC that uses a wacom stylus.
With the stylus replacement tips there is an extraction tool: It looks like a wide ring split lengthwise.
You take the tool between thumb and index ( as you do a tweezer) and extract the worn out tip.
Toshiba warns against letting the tip wear out too much: this renders extraction difficult.
Once you have extracted the worn out tip, insert a new one with the thinner side towards the outside.
Press gently but firmly to make sure it is holding.
Hope it helps.
On my toshiba tablet,I forgot my pass word.how do I reset it?
Not sure about specifics on toshiba tablets, but wanted to suggest that on other tablets you can hold the up volume(sometimes others its volume down) and power button at sane time for about 10+seconds and a menu will pop up for a rebooting, safe mode, and factory restart(which erases and reboots from scratch) worth a shot.. Yet, be careful what you select if it works.. Don't want you to erase stuff if you don't want to.... And btw most tablets have a little pin size hole either under the camera lense or on side that something like a paper clip can push a reset button... But don't think that helps with password.. Just if it freezes up and won't shut down... Good luck.. Sorry if this doesn't help...
