You must hook these particular items up in a specific sequence. First power down both the modem and the router, only connect the modem to the isp until all appropriate lights on on. General all routers have a wireless tab when you get into the setup screen. If your computer can support I suggest to go with wpa2 mixed encription. They can break into wep in about 15 seconds now with a pogram aircrack.

Back when P4 systems were common, the hard drive interfaces were quite marginal for video processing and techniques to force the capture to faster devices (like a RAM drive, or now SSD drive, or SCSI interface to high end striped drives) were used to smooth the video capture. POORLY supported routers made in China. STRONGLY recommend disposing of this device and obtaining one from a better vendor that supports it's products i.e.: Cisco, 3Com, etc...

You could try Getright software, but most likely you are having connection problems (low bandwidth or high error rates). Problem is not likely in the router unless your wireless signal strength is very low.
