Fuji fine pix A400 zoom error
the camera may not be dropped but the lens may have initiated incrrectly, like it was turned on inside the case that the something prevented the lens to fully mount (telescope out) to default capture position.
it is repairable with Fuji Techs, but if the cost of the repair is worth 3/4 to the original price when you got the unit and is out of its warranty, then it will be best to get it replaced, and you may use this camera for harsh environments, like outdoor trekking or a helmet cam perhaps, it just a personal idea.

Hi everyone, I know many posts on blogs when i was looking to replace my casio lcd and every site i looked at for the replacement lcd was so high priced, and there was no way i would pay how much they wanted so i was going to buy a new camera. Then i found this guy on ebay and he had tons of lcds for sale but none for my camera and all of them were priced good and low. So i sent him a message and he told me to go to his site
www.Buy202.com and i checked it out and he offers tons of lcd cheap one i bought from him only cost me $27 and i installed it myself it was tricky at 1st but you just have to be gentle i guess. anyhow anyone looking for lcds this guy is pretty cool ive got 2 from hims o far.

its seems really hard to find spare parts for digicams only possible and sure way would be through the manufacturer just to be sure you`ll get the same quality...

the photo was not recognize when you took itthats way it would say read error. no way to retrieve thos pics...sorry..

Card not Initialized
Can you get into your camera's menus? If you can, there should be an
Option under your Setup menu to Reformat card that might fix the
problem. This happens sometimes with the memory cards, they just need to be
reset. Unfortunately you can lose your photos sometimes when it
happens, so if it's happening a lot you should buy a new memory card.
Card Initialization
When you are viewing your pictures, press the menu button and go into the option menu.
then select set-up and go through the menus until you find 'format'. press ok and press left/right to select OK, and press ok.
It should then be working.

As far as deleting images this can be done also by formatting the memory card, but definitely upload your images to your computer first because formatting does delete all the images on your memory card. The zoom function problem on the other hand will most likely have to be looked at by an authorized service technician such as bringing it to a Geek Squad® precinct at a Best Buy™ store and they can send it out for service. I hope this helps!

Zoom error on finepixA400 camera
I had the problem with the lens being stuck out. I ended up pressing gently but with a lot of force and it collapsed while making some load clicking noises, I figured that I’d busted it, but I turned it off and back on and it worked great. I know it’s not a great fix but it might work for some of you.
Printing pictures
Turn on our computer.
Connect the cable from the camera to the computer.
Turn on the camera.
Automatically it will download the photos.
Then, look for the photos on your computer and print.
