I have the Insignia NS-L26Q-10A26"LCD TV. I've had it for months. Suddenly today the TV would not go on. It just says "no signal". I tried going to "input" where you set it to TV, VGA etc, to make sure it was set to "TV" and it is. I tried using the same cable on another TV and the signal is fine. I then tried using the insignia TV as a monitor to see if there was any problems with the picture. And it works fine as a monitor. SO as it stands it's not a problem with the cable, it is set on "TV" and also the picture is fine when it is used as my monitor. Also nothing happened to the TV since last night when I was watching it, and this afternoon when I turned it on. It's on the wall so it wasn't inadvertently hit into or anything. This just doesn't make sense. Does anyone have any ideas of what might be happening or what I could do ?! I just bought this thing a few months ago! It's not like it's had a long life. It's actually probably not covered by warranty anymore since most of them are only up to 3motnhs or so... Don't tell me this is one of those pieces of **** that's made to brake down after the warranty is no longer any good.:(

My other HD LCD TV shows HD channels filling the screen and LD (low-def) channels filling a 4x3 rectangle in the middle of the screen filling the screen vertically and leaving a black area on either side. This TV has several "zoom" settings none of which act like the other TV. You either get all channels short and fat (HD is compressed), or all channels long and thin (LD is stretched). For now I leave it on the "Zoom" setting that was the default, leaving LD channels distorted. Is there a better setting or combination of settings that I haven't found?
