If freezer is warm though you've raised the temperature, it is a major problem. If you've valid warranty then call the dealer and they'll definitely fix every problem.

If warranty does not covers, then you should call some A/C and Refrigerator mechanic(you will definitely find some in your local area) to fix this.

Ok do this. Boil some water in a pot then use that to defrost the freezer. This is caused by ice build up in the vent that is keeping the cold air from coming into the refrigerator. Make sure it is defrost completel though cause the ice that is built up is mostly inside and can't be seen. That will solve ur problem I guarantee. Then set the temperature to normal. Like half way. This keeps the frost from building up. Believe it or not as refrigerators get a bit older they actually get even colder and therefore frost build up is more likely. Since no refrigeration can be made completely leak proof, small amount of the freon has leaked out older fridge, and this actually cause it to get colder. You don't need a service technician just defrost then set to a lower setting thats it.

Sounds like your control board fuse(s) circled in red below have blown which can essentially prevent the refrigerator from turning on. The control borad is accessed from the back side of the frig and behind a screwed on panel. The problem gets worse though ... in that these fuses are NOT removable ... they are soldered directly to the board ... so the whole board has to be replaced or if you are extremely handy with electronics you unsolder the blown one out and solder back a new one

First remove the items from the freeze and place them in a cold box with insulation. Items should last for a day in the cooler. Try to move the freezer away from any wall. Unplug from power source. (place rags/towels/ etc. around the freezer.) If you have a room heater, let it face the freezer from a about 4-5 feet. Allow the area to drip onto towels (replace from time to time) and when it is dry to the touch, clean up the area, including inside the freezer and reset to the normal place etc. Turn the freezer on and let it get cold before you replace the frozen goods.

turn the power off-breaker or unplug it for 5 minutes and then see if it resets when you plug it in.

There are instances where the compressor can come loose inside its housing. That is not an indication that it is going to totally fail and it has no effect other than the noise. The fan noise would be louder inside the fridge. It would be a squeal.

look at the back wall of freezer there is a panel there with vents in it . if it has froze up you may need to defrost the coils behind panel, remove panel and put hair dryer to it on low or med. heat high will melt plastic. check ice maker or tube to see if it is running over the side in back. it will run down on coils and freeze it up.

Suggest take a small appliance course at your local community college. You will need to purchase a gage set manifold, vacuum pump down unit, and an Oxy/ Acet torch and learn how to use all of it.
Of course once you do you'll have people pestering you to give you cash money to test theirs.
