Ink has run out ???
TSP100 Thermal Printer work with a thermosensible paper, there is no ink to change, if the print quality is poor you have to
- check the paper roller, it can be wrong installed.
- Check the upper cover if not closed properly close it.
- check the print head or the pressor roller.

Star tps 100 not producing reciept intermittantly
Is this the networked Star TSP or the USB version? If it's networked you may want to make sure that you're still connected to the network by printing out a test receipt (power the printer off, hold the feed button down while it's off and continue holding the feed button after turning the printer back on until it prints a test receipt - the second receipt will give IP configuration information).
If you're not receiving a valid IP address you may be having network issues - you might consider assigning the printer (you might need to power cycle your router and printer to get initially connected again in order to do this).

Print not clear
from printer properties --> preferences --> device options -->
1- speed setting ( set it to low speed to have clear print) and
2- Head setting ( set darkness to upper digit to have clear print)
