Error message bad esc seq
The Bad Esc error you are seeing indicates the pritner is reciving data from the host computer system that it does not recognise, the most likely cause for this error are;
- You are not using the correct pritner driver to print to the pritner
- The Emulation setting on the pritner is not correct, you can check this via the printers menu - I would guess the pritner has defaulted to MT660 emulation and it needs to be set to Epson or IBM emulation
Tally mt661 printer gives data overrun error after
The Data Overrun error is normaly associated with the incorrect serial interface settings on the pritner or the serial cable may have the wrong pin configuration or be damaged in someway.
