i live in an apartment which happens to share my bedroom wall with the heater for the complex. It rattles and bangs all night, which means i don't get much sleep. it sounds like empty soda cans in the dryer going round and round. The maintenance workers already "worked on it" twice, but it's still really loud. The manager said that they will not replace a $5,000 heater and offered to move me to another unit. I like my apartment, and i don't believe that moving me will solve the problem. Please help!

I live near a rock crushing plant and it's blasts shake the house daily. I believe the fan needs a screw tightened and all I want to do is take the plastic housing off the front of the heater. Do I pull, slide or what as I do not want to break it?

fahrenheat fuh 54 b doesnt run long enough to get my garage warm. the unit works great when its running. it runs for about 5 minutes then cools off and shuts off for about 10 minutes thats even on high if i put on a lower setting it barely kicks on. i live in st. louis mo. my garage is also a 22 x 21 that is insulated and drywalled with 9 foot celings. i know the unit is a touch small b.t.u. wise but i think it should keep running until it hits a certain temp. it takes a long time to get warm it will not get above 68 degrees for nothing and that takes hours. i can actauly warm the area better with two 1500 watt space heaters and get the temp. in the 70's faster. the unit has been like this since new.

Traditional water heaters use a storage tank to hold heated water until it is needed. They typically run off of natural gas, but electric and propane heaters are also common. In addition, tank less water heaters are available. They operate by routing water to where it needs to be instead of storing
