Need power cord for pelonis model 1450W

You can use a replacement cord from most hardware stores as long as it has a rating of at least 1500 watts and polarized plug. Thank you.

I have a Pelonis oil-filled electric radiator heater that will not turn on even when plugged in to a good outlet. The switch seemed a little erratic but worked but when I bumped into it this morning i

Unplug it, then open it and inspect for a loose wiring connection. If that doesn't help, then jumper across the tip-over switch to see if the switch is bad.

Fan blows, but does not heat. Is there a fuse?

If the fan runs all the time, then it is possible that the high limit control needs to be reset. Some can be reset and some are autmotaic.

Turn Power off
-Turn thermostat up
Turn power back on, if you here the contactor pull in
then your problem is probably a limit switch that
needs to be reset or replaced, thats if you have no heat.

These limit switches can be located inside the main
control panel or located on the outside of the heater

The only thing it can be are the Thermistor, or the Thermostat itself, try first replacing the temperature sensor, the Thermistor, if still no go, then replace the thermostat itself, these are notorious for faulting in this way.

The fan does not turn on but the furnace does

Try turning the fan on manually at the Thermostat by clicking "Fan On"...if thiis turns the fan on...leave it running and you will have heat till a Service Tech can come out....if if doesn't work you will req a Technician to have a look . Likely if the furnace is fairly new either the Relay , Circuit board relay or the motor itself is Defective.

The ac cord burned up where it enters the back

If the cord burned, there's something terribly inside the heater. Don't try to replace cord. It's to risky. Buy a new heater and save a life.

The heater stopped working granted it is old and

I think your heater is probably worn out. I bought one of their units twenty plus years ago and did not do maintaence on it as I should have. It was used a lot as my wife was staying home and besides taking care of our own two she babysat for three or four more. By the time it started giving me trouble I took the back screen off and cleaned lots of dirt and lint out and got another two years out of it. When it quit a small section of the ceramic disc broke off and it was cost prohibitive to buy repair parts.
This is a very good unit but now it's jist less expensive to buy a new radiant heater every 3-4 years. Sorry I know that's not much help. Thank you.

Makes a noise when turned on.. sounds like fan or

I would make sure the heater is unplugged then remove backscreen and foam filter. Carefully clean firter with warm water and alittle dish soap. Rinse thouroughly and air dry it. I would clean any hair lint or other debris from fan blades, motor and heating elements. You can use a tooth brush to clean heating elements. You can also use a drop or two of light grade machine oil or WD-40 on blower shaft where it enters the motor. Wipe off any excess oil and when you're sure filter is dry reassemble and try it. Hope this helps you. Thanks

Pelonis LT101A/ B2-IVA

Pelonis heaters generally have safety devices built in to them for if they fall over and such. This model may have other safety devices, I would check it out in the manual. If its completely dead in the camper, there could be a problem with the outlet in the camper.

Fan squeals slightly while running

Probably the fan bushings need a drop of 3 in 1 type oil. you will have to take the heater apart to gain access. Only use one drop as excess oil will cause odor problems and could also be a fire hazard.
